Ski:
Chamonix is acknowledged as one of the greatest resorts in Europe. It undoubtedly has some of the best off piste in Europe, and a huge variety of terrain including 5 different ski areas. All areas are accessible by car, train or the shuttle bus, which is free with your Cham’Ski or Mont Blanc ski pass. Slope areas locally include: Le Brevent/La Flegere 1095m - 2525m, and the longest lift in Europe to the Aguille de Midi, for the world famous Vallee Blanche off piste run. The Brevent and Aguille de Midi lifts are 5 minutes walk away. The lifts to the Grands Montets ski area are a 20 minute bus ride or a 10 minute drive away. Skiing is amongst the highest in Europe so snow record is very good.
