Beautifully renovated and it looks lovely! Bedroom with French doors into the garden, air conditioning, wood panelled ceiling with fan modern bathroom,sitting room has a panelled ceiling with fan a double sofa bed open plan kitchen (oven/microwave/fridge/freezer) & seating for 4,flat screened TV DVD,CD/MP3/radio,4 folding doors open onto the covered terrace which makes it bright and airy here we have a dining table/chairs & easy chairs for the cocktail hour.We have a large front lawn so plenty of room to sunbathe. It takes 2 minutes to walk to the private members pool which you are welcome to use & is attached to The Beach House, a Restaurant/bar 15% discount for our guests,3 steps down to the gorgeous beach and the beautiful Caribbean sea.The famous Sandy Lane beach is in walking distance. Holetown beach has trips on glass bottom boats,jet skis,water skis. There is mall with a supermarket,some great shops with beautiful clothes and shoes.There are regular buses into Bridgetown.

The west coast of Barbados is famous throughout the world, the beaches are so lovely and we have one two minutes away,join the new and fabulous boardwalk, enjoy our lovely beach, have a drink in the Beach House & then walk down to the beach outside Zaccious (fab food & cocktails) with jet skis,glass bottom boats and water skis, a very lively place! Holetown is a must to visit it has First Street and Second Street with just wonderful restaurants, Thai, Indian,Italian and of course Caribbean (Caribbean food is just delicious) The Supermarket has everything you could want,they serve hot food everyday freshly cooked its very popular so get there early! The Chattel Village has good gifts clothes and a lovely little cafe. On the beach there are two very good beach bars serving good food Zaccios is one and the other Surf side which has big screen TVs showing all the important football matches and is extremely lively at the weekend!

This property has been very tastefully renovated and we spent four very comfortable weeks there. The reception was very helpful and friendly; from the meeting at the airport, our return to it, and all the weeks in between. All our questions were answered and we benefited from suggestions. The property sleeps four and while this might suit a young family, four adults might find storage difficulties.

We enjoyed the park-like, grassed and tree filled space which fronts this and all the other properties

Access to the beach and pool across the road is easy. The pool was usually fairly empty as are the nearest beaches. Holetown beaches are busier and more commercial. We found eating out expensive compared with the UK - especially given the present exchange rate.

We used our UK national Trust Membership Cards to get free our reduced entry at Barbados NT sites.

We would return without hesitation if we planned to visit Barbados again.

Fantastic Property

This was our first time in Barbados and we had a fantastic holiday. The apartment itself is in excellent condition and is also very well equipped. As the property details suggest the apartment is in an excellent location being a few minutes walk to the pool (which we had to ourselves most days), the shops, the beach and a range of restaurants and bars. The area was also extemely safe and we felt very comfortable walking around the area at all times of day and night.

Mike, who picked us up from the airport, was very helpful both in terms of showing us round the apartment and in helping us to get our bearings in and around Holetown. He also introduced us to a number of the regulars at Zaccios which made for a very enjoyable break.

Without a doubt I would recommend the accommodation.

Lovely house in great location

I stayed here for over two weeks. It is a spacious 1 bedroom house located very close to the beach and to a large swimming pool. The latter is often nice and quiet and is part of a restaurant/ bar complex, overlooks the beach and it's free for people living in Sunset Crest where the house is. Perfect!

There are about 30 or so restaurants and bars close by and it's easy to get a bus to Bridgetown or other parts of the West Coast.

The house has excellent facilities and I enjoyed my stay there very much indeed. The front patio is especiially pleasant of an evening. A property to be highly recommended in my view. I cannot find fault with this property or it's location in any way at all.

Gorgeous Apartment

I really had great fun in Barbados. This apartment is stunning and so near to the Beach House swimming pool and sun beds.
The kitchen is beautiful to this apartment, this made my stay so reasonable but in lovely luxury. The kitchen had every thing you could possibly want. I was able to walk to local supermarket and choose my food for evening meals and take full advantage of my beautiful surroundings, the patio area was great early morning for my breakfast looking out onto the lovely lawn in front watching the birds, and in the evening enjoying my meal, this made my stay very reasonable and still great fun just relaxing in that Barbados sunshine.
I also had lovely reasonable meals out at three local beach bars Zaccios, Surfside and Just Grilling, these are just along side the Beach House all have happy hour, people very friendly and helpful, have lovely prawns, locals call them shrimp.
I did not have a car on my stay because local buses are great they can take you all over the island, same price for one stop or to the other side of the island great value.
The location of this apartment gives you everything you should need, the sea, water sports, beach bars, restaurants, supermarket and great boutiques.
I would highly recommend this apartment, the owner provided good customer service with local contact who greated me on my arrival and during my stay was easy to contact and gave good advice and suggestions.

A great experience, would love to come back!

We stayed at Ellie's apartment for 10 days in Feb 2009. The apartment was very clean and tidy and no concerns. We loved how close we were to all the ammenities. Mike was a great host, and one thing we forgot to ask him... was if there were extra towels and linens and apparently there was in a cupboard above the fridge.... good to know for next time. Ellie was very prompt in getting back to us via email. The one suggestion we had was to have an iron and ironing board in the apartment. The other thing was we had bought condiments w/o looking what was in the cupboard 1st, and so that would have saved some $ and waste if we had done so. We did think we were closer to the beach than we were, but once we knew what to expect, it was fine. The bajan ppl were delightful! and we had no vehicle, and that was more than fine. Overall, a great experience.
Owner's Response: Thank you Ben and Cheryl I have now bought a very pretty ironing board and a STEAM iron (as everything dries so quickly)! The condiments cupboard is well stocked at present but must be checked before shopping as you suggest. Mike sends everyone to Holetown beach (7 mins away) as the bars are there and the beach two minutes away is bar free!! However at this present minute they are building a promenade along the beach which everybody is very excited about and will be marvellous for jogging, afternoon strolls and evening promenading, you will have to come and see it! The entrance will be behind the apartment. Ellie
