Casa Principessa is a beautifully restored farmhouse situated in the famous Golden Triangle area of Le Marche with magnificent views of the villages of Gualdo, Sarnano and the majestic Sibillini Mountains. The house, parts of which date back to the 1700s, was uninhabited for 40 years before being lovingly restored by a group of local artisan builders using the old stones, tiles and wooden beams found within the property. It has been transformed into a charming and comfortable villa. The interior is a beautiful mixture of 200yr old wooden beams and modern appliances including broadband internet access. The poperty includes three outdoor alfresco dining areas, magnificent pool, barbecue and original 150yr old pizza oven. The main house consists of 3 levels and there is a two-storey outbuilding. Picturesque town of Gualdo is 1.6km away and the larger, charming spa town of Sarnano 10 mins away.

Take a leisurely walk to the nearby hilltop town of Gualdo or drive 10 mins to the charming spa town of Sarnano, perhaps take the waters at the Fonte San Giacomo spa. Horse riding, mountain biking, paragliding, trekking, hot-air ballooning are all available in the nearby Mount Sibillini National Park. In winter Mount Sibillini is transformed into an easily accessible ski field. Drive to Lake Fiastra located one hour from Casa Principessa. This delightful location, between woods and mountains, is a centre for water-skiing and fishing. At the water’s edge there is also a little beach. Attend the opera season at The Sferisterio, the world famous open air arena at Macerata. Visit the impressive limestone Frasassi Caves, or the Roman ruins at Urbisaglia. Take in the scenery, coves and beaches of the Conero Coast. Sample Le Marche wines at local vineyards. Visit local medieval towns such as Ascoli Piceno, Amandola, Loreto

The second level of the main house has 2 bedrooms and another bathroom - all with views. There is also a very comfortable fold-out sofa bed in the second living area of the house located on the second level. There is a beautiful outbuilding which houses another bedroom and bathroom.
