Pamper yourself with a cook and a housekeeper:
If you want to really take things easy, and have someone do your cooking and keep the house in good order during your stay, then we would be pleased to introduce you to Tessa. She is a wonderful cook, and produces some delicious West Indian dishes. She will also clean the house and do your laundry, leaving you more time to relax and enjoy your time on St Kitts. Please contact us for details of charges
Great for the kids too:
Chidren are welcome at Turtle Beach House, and for smaller people there is a play pen and a travel cot available for your use.
Having four young children of our own who regularly visit the house, you'll find various pool toys, kites, bats and balls, and board games to help keep them occupied.
Nearby Turtle Beach is a great place for kids to explore and play. The water is perfect for novice swimmers, or for those more advanced, there's the reef to snorkel over and discover beautiful fish, lobsters and if you're really lucky a friendly turtle or a ray
Other popular activities for children on the island include horse riding, jet skiing, hikes and zip lines in the rainforest, quad biking, and loads more (see 'Things to Do' for more details)
And when you want an evening to yourself we can recommend a reliable babysitter, who is a certified teacher/principal, first aid trained, and has years of experience working with newborns to teenagers in the US
Restaurants, Carnival, Cricket, :
There is a huge choice of places to eat and drink from shacks on the beaches, such as Mr X's Shigidy Shack,Lion's Bar,Shipwreck, as well as Chinese, Italian, and American menus to fine restaurants like Ottley's, Marshall's, Serendipity, and the one a few steps from our house, the newly opened Beach House. Island specialities include rotis, freshly caught lobster, Mahi Mahi and other locally caught fresh fish, Caribbean rice, and lovely fresh Caribbean vegetables. The carnival in St. Kitts is unique. It's the only one in the Caribbean that blends the spirit of Christmas with the colourful display of the nation's culture and African heritage. Visitors flock to party and soak up the fun. For cricket fans Warner Park was the first of the Caribbean seven new World Cup stadiums to open, and hosts some great games.
