Pittulongu holiday villa: Pittulongu Olbia Sardinia Italy

My husband and I along with an another couple stayed at this property in summer 2008. This was possibly the best holiday we ever had and all thanks to our amazing hosts and accommodation. The accommodation was perfect and close enough to all local amenities. The owners live downstairs and made our holiday all the more pleasurable. They showed us around and took good care of us. The flat was clean and tidy with ample space and great views of the sea. I would recommend this to anyone especially young people. We will definitely be staying here again! :)

We had the best time in Sardinia. Stefano and Walter were extremely welcoming, went above and beyond their roles of host and were continually happy and alot of fun. They are both from Sardinia so have extensive local knowledge as well which was very helpful. The apartment had a very relaxing feel, with lovely light and was much nicer than the photos portrayed! The villa had all amenities and we were extremely comfortable there. Exploration of the local beaches revealed gorgeous water and beautiful scenery. Would definitely recommend hiring a car to really explore Costa Smerelda and the further reaching sites. Will DEFINITELY return and recommend to all our friends.

Our stay in the upper level of the villa was in all amazing! Its very clean, tidy, and full of everything you need. We were pleasantly delighted to find things like herbs, and sugar etc - all the things you need for cooking we already there, and the bonus is that the Nona Isa store is just down the road not even 50m!! So, if you need anything, its convenient enough to quickly pop down and get what you need, and of course the big supermarkets in Olbia are easy enough to locate (and a they're a little cheaper too!). The villa had a lovely spacious terrace to sit out at, and there's a huge table & chairs which we ate at almost every meal! The kitchen is a little small and very little work surface, but thats no problem really! You've got everything you need and the living room is nice and spacious, and the air con works great. There were 5 of us when we stayed and the 1 corner sofa wasn't quite enough, but we used chairs from off the terrace to make up! The TV has plenty of english channels to watch, though they're mostly american trash channels, but the movie selection isn't bad. There's a 4 post bed in the next room to the living room which is where the entrance door is, but don't let it put you off, its a nice bed! there's then 2 toilets, 1 with bath tub, and other is with shower. Then the two rooms are double beds, loads of storage space in the larger of the two. beds are a little hard and not 100% comfy, but i don't think any bed is like your own...!?! Pittulongu beach is pretty nice, but you have to walk to the middle of the beach to get the better sand! We travelled most days towards san teodorra just south of Olbia, and on the way there, there's plenty of little cute beaches and some larger busier ones, but get there early and you'll be fine! We stayed 7 nights and used a renault scenic and it cost 50 Euros in fuel to refill, not bad! The one and only problem we had at all during our stay was the electricity at the accommodation. We get a few nasty static shocks from the dishwasher and the washing machine in the laundry room, and if you used the dish washer and air con at the same time, the trip switch went off so electric went off. The landlord said he would have an electician look at it asap, so hope that problems resolved by now! I'd recommend most to consider staying here! We had a really great time, Thank you!!!
