Thailand Central Region holiday villa: Hua Hin

As a frequent visitor to Hua Hin, I'm now fully content that I've found a place to return again. If this villa is available each time I return to Hua Hin, I will surely book it again. It's located in a quiet, local neighborhood less than 5k to the town center and even closer to the convenient grocery shopping and eateries in the one-stop Market Village hub. If you have a car, great, if not, local rentals or taxis are available. The villa is located within a small, secure, privacy-oriented residential community. The owners, John and Kay, are warm and welcoming, and often go-overboard in accommodating guests -- good for us! They had the villa constantly cleaned and serviced, and were on hand should questions or needs arise. What I liked most about my stay was the privacy and comforts of the villa itself. The furnishings were contemporary-Asian in style with lots of holiday sense and appeal. The 3 bedroom layout was more than enough space for us and could easily manage small to medium families comfortably. The pool . . . well, the pool is frankly the star of the show. I balanced my time from bedroom to pool, to reading under the sun to pool, to snacking to pool, and so on . . .not in any particular order, but basically all the hardships that vacation time presses upon us! Away from occasional visits to the beach, local restaurants and site-seeing, I spent most of my time relaxing at the villa and cooking lots of my own food, as the kitchen is fully equipped for most any a chef. But do not fear, for those who don't want to be near the kitchen on holiday, the area has more than enough selection of local and international fare at bargain prices. Overall, I would highly recommend this residence to those seeking hotel-style accommodation and services for a non-hotel rates. The owners bring together a wonderful and complete "pool villa" experience for those seeking warmth and privacy in the coastal town charm of Hua Hin.

Fabulous! Recommended to us by a friend who was so jealous we were going that he joined us again! The villa is spotless with very tasteful and expensive decor (more like a 5 star hotel than a self catering villa!) and the pool and gardens exceptionally well maintained. The pool is completely private (unless you have your friend with you). 5 mins in a taxi (about £2-£3) and you are in Hua Hin shopping/bars/restaurants in great abundance. Night market shopping is a must. The maid service is daily except Sundays - you can even get your laundry done before coming home - now that's what I call a holiday! The accommodation was the best we have seen in the Far East - and we've sampled many. Stepping out of your bedroom onto the deck and into the pool - ace! John and Kay were superb - and on hand for advise if you needed it - a lovely couple who's sole aim is to make sure you enjoy your stay - and why would you not! A must be sampled holiday - but not on the dates we're going back!

Situated in a quiet part of Hua Hin, this 3 bedroomed villa has been exquisitely furnished in a Modern Thai style by Kay & John, the owners, who live nearby, and are on hand to provide advice based on their local knowledge and experience.
The rooms are all very generous in size, affording a very practical layout. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and it is obvious that the owners have concentrated on providing a luxurious ambience to all the rooms. Every item of furniture and fittings, like the Hi Fi are of the highest quality. The garden area and pool are immaculate and are maintained on a daily basis in an unobtrusive manner by professional cleaners. The pictures shown do not do proper justice to this property.
I would recommend the hiring of a car to explore the area properly, and the owners will be able to provide useful assistance and suggestions in this respect. In conclusion, this was the best experience I have had, in many years of hiring villas in Thailand, and was truly a 5 star experience.
