For visitors seeking a hideaway marinated in romance, calm, unspoilt natural surroundings as well as elegant and relaxed accommodation, villas Palagio Di Orio, are elegant manor style houses situated at the top of a Hill with great view to Ionian Sea and the mountains on the mainland is the perfect destination. Both villas are of traditional stone construction and finished to a high standard with using polished olive wood that gives authentic Greek character. Fully air-conditioned, consists of a large living room with open fireplace and a cottage-style kitchen with dining area. There is a covered terrace furnished with table and chairs & a large covered BBQ for preparing al fresco meals. There are rwo villas on the property, the single storey villa is 120 sq & has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and double storey villa is 160 sqm with 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms Externally there is a large swimming pool, with hydro massage, sun & garden terrace with superb sea & mainland views

You can reach Lefkada by car, via the bridge that connects Lefkada with the mainland (Etelokarnania). By BUS there are frequent KTEL bus routes to Lefkada from Athens, Thessalonica, Patras, and other major Greek cities. From Athens, bus service is daily and travel time is 5 hours. From Thessalonica, bus service is 2 times the week and travel time is 7 hours. FLIGHTS There are daily flights from Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos, to Aktio Preveza Airport (45 mins)

Wonderful villa and pool in Lefkas

We had a lovely fortnight at this villa. It is in a truly beautiful place with the most amazing views of the surrounding coast. It was great for young children as there were no steps between the house and the pool, you could walk straight out the front door to the pool area. There is no fence around the pool so we just had to be careful with the children but they were very sensible.
We had the bungalow part of these 2 semi detached houses (each with its own beautiful warm pool) which suited us with young children. The house was clean and had all we needed, although a microwave would have been handy. Yianni and Maria were very helpful and welcoming. You need a car to get anywhere but there are some lovely places to drive to for meals -we liked Karyia the best in the evenings it was full of locals and had a lovely Greek feel about it. The beaches were OK but no good for sandcastle building as the sand is thick and gravelly.
We would strongly recommend this house for a family holiday and hope to go back another year.
