For the small guests, the Unsleben kindergarten offers great care options for low prices for whole-days or half-days. Children are welcome, it also includes 6-8 year old children. The kindergarten is around 200 m from the castle, it can be reached comfortably in 5 min on foot.
Cycling and hiking paradise in front of the house: The marked paths begin right by the moat. Whether with a dog, bicycle, children or just on foot – here everyone gets what they want. A walk through the charming landscape around the castle is relaxing and lets you forget everyday stress.
And those who do not want to go on a simple walk, the hiking paradise of the Rhone has nearly infinite paths in the mountain and valley, steep and flat, by the river or on the high moor.
Diverse excursion options: The surroundings invite you to go on different types of excursions: Culture in Meiningen, Wurzburg, Fulda and the surrounding area. Don’t forget in Bad Kissingen and other cities with sophisticated and comprehensive concert and theatre programs await you in the summer. Those who want to swim can go to the Triamare in Bad Neustadt/ Saale and will find fun and movement for low prices. But also a few kilometres to the lake.
Ski:
A 20 minute drive away from Unsleben, you can reach the popular ski regions in the Rhone. This includes the Kreuzberg, the Wasserkuppe, Zuckerfeld, etc. In the skiing and snowing paradise Wasserkuppe you will also find excellent sledding conditions, even with a sledding lift. Unsleben itself has a small sledding slope, which allows for a lot of fun for both the young and the old.
Golf:
The beautiful golf course Maria Bildhausen is a 10 minute drive from Münnerstadt. Golfers will find an 18-hole championship course and a 6-hole course in the soft hilly landscapes of the Rhone. The special thing about this course is that even here you can have the feeling of freedom while golfing even if 200 people are playing at the same time. The well-designed course – two circuits – makes this possible. The golf course is the only golf course owned and located on the premises of a monastery!
