Situated in the picturesque village of Unsleben in the heart of Lower Franconia , our captivating 12th-century castle has been the country home of the Habermann family for generations. Set amidst the rolling wooded hills and lush farmlands of the Rhön-Grabfeld region, Castle Unsleben offers a quiet, peaceful retreat from the cares and worries of daily life and a perfect base for daily excursions to explore the area's many historic towns and natural and cultural attractions. A genuine Wasserschloss (it means that the castle is surrounded by a moat), Castle Unsleben offers two holiday accommodations for couples or families.

Details for falconcrest 1 Bedroom, Sleeps 2, 1 Bathroom

The falcon crest is situated in the tower of the chapel, just above of it. The flat (completely renovated in 2007) consists of 2 rooms and is dedicated to those, who love special accommodations. You will find a sleeping room (almost round with windows to all directions) with a wonderful high-quality bed in it (2 x 2 m), a tiny, new bathroom with towel heating and shower, a little kitchen corner and a very comfortable living room, decorated with a lot of style. Watch the fire and the wood oven and dream of being a chevalier of long-gone times. If you stay in the falcon crest in May/June you have the unique opportunity of witnessing the real young falcons coming out of their eggs and growing - just opposite one of the flat's windows in the 'real' falcon crest. Please note: if you wish to reach the Falcon crest, you have to climb steep stairs! The falcon crest is a very romantic place. Ideal for couples and honeymooners. But it also offers a cozy, well protected place for single travelers

Wer es gerne ruhig und beschaulich mag, ist genau richtig hier: eine einmalige Location mit viel Flair und netter Betreuung durch das angenehm unprätentiöse Grafenpaar.
Die Wohnung ist ordentlich ausgestattet, nur in der kalten Jahreszeit nicht zu empfehlen, da es nur begrenzte Heizmöglichkeiten gibt.
Owner's Response: Besuchen Sie im Winter lieber unser Schloss-Appartment oder das Gärtnerhaus (zu winterlichen Sonderpreisen auch für 2 Personen). Da ist es immer kuschelig warm! Falkennest und Burghäuschen sind tatsächlich eher für den Sommer geeignet....
