Situated in the picturesque village of Unsleben in the heart of Lower Franconia , our captivating 12th-century castle has been the country home of the Habermann family for generations. Set amidst the rolling wooded hills and lush farmlands of the Rhön-Grabfeld region, Castle Unsleben offers a quiet, peaceful retreat from the cares and worries of daily life and a perfect base for daily excursions to explore the area's many historic towns and natural and cultural attractions. A genuine Wasserschloss (it means that the castle is surrounded by a moat), Castle Unsleben offers two holiday accommodations for couples or families.

The Gardeners’ Cottage at Schloss Unsleben welcomes you for enjoyable holidays for all the family. It nestles a stone throw away from the Castle on the edge of the Castle Yard with a view over the lovely countryside. The historic character of the old half-timbered house in its wonderfully quiet position provides ideal conditions for relaxing days surrounded by the Castle atmosphere. Should you have small children in your family we are prepared for them. Safety sockets, baby equipment, stair guards, etc., will enable you to enjoy a really relaxed stay. For the youngest ones there is a small sand pit in your own garden together with a natural small pond and lots of space to romp about. Perhaps the older ones would like to explore the close-by mill-stream or play football on the lawn. The Gardeners’ Cottage offers 3 bedrooms with 5 beds. In addition we have provided a sofa bed in the lounge as well as a baby’s cot.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Man kann den Urlaub genießen. Niemand fühlt sich gestört duch Kindergeschrei, musizieren und Hundegebell. Ideal für die ganze Familie. Das Haus ist urig, es verbindet sehr schön Altes mit Neuem. Die Küche
ist modern ausgestattet und lädt zum Benutzen ein.
Der Garten ist idyllisch angelegt und sicher umzäunt. Sehr schön für Kinder und
auch Hunde.

Das Schloß ist sehenswert, die Umgebung toll. Wir waren bereits 2 mal da. Gerne wieder.

Perfekt für Familie mit Kind und Hund

Hier kommt jede Familie auf ihre Kosten. Der abgeschlossene Hof des Gärtnerhäuschen lädt zum freien Spielen ein, der Teich ist dabei praktischerweise gesondert umzäunt. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Ort sind einwandfrei, auch ein Geldautomat ist vorhanden. Hundehalter werden es geniessen, denn Dank Ortsrandlage beginnen gleich sehr schöne Gassistrecken. Die Umgebung lädt zu netten Ausflügen ein. Hier können Sie einen entspannten Urlaub verbringen.

Kurzfristig entschieden wir uns für dieses Objekt ,und verbrachten im Gärtnerhaus der Wasserburg und seiner tollen Umgebung einen wunderbaren Urlaub .Ein tolles historisches Ambiente ,nette Leute ,Herrliche Natur , interessante Dörfer Städte und Naturdenkmäler .Genug Gelegenheiten für Entdeckungen aller Art oder einen romantischen Urlaub. Dieses Domizil werde ich auch meinen Freunden weiterempfehlen! Wir kommen gern wieder!
