On a hill top with amazing views over the glorious Sussex countryside, a luxurious house sleeping up to 8, within easy reach of the South coast and London. Completely modernised in 2008, downstairs the property offers a living room with open fireplace, dining room, study, well equipped kitchen / breakfast room, laundry/utility room, cloakroom . Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, 2 of which are en-suite. Both the living and dining rooms open onto a terrace overlooking the large garden, which is mostly lawned, and on towards the South Downs. Well away from main roads, this is a very peaceful place, but within 5 minutes drive there is a very useful supermarket!

Perfectly placed between London and the South Coast, the property is surrounded by beautiful countryside and close to several fascinating and ancient small towns. Arundel has charming streets winding their way up to the 1000 year old castle, as well as the delightful Wildfowl Centre. Petworth Park, a majestic country house with internationally renowned art collection, is surrounded by the beautiful town, abounding in antique shops. Chichester with it's 12th century Cathedral and Brighton, home of the Royal Pavilion Palace, as well as excellent beach and shopping are within easy striking distance. There are also many pretty villages, great for chilling out in a historic pub........ Billingshurst Station is on the mainline to London, less than an hour away.

The location of this property is superb with amazing views in every direction. The house itself is wonderful and beautifully laid out. The amenities provided are top notch and the owner is extremely thoughtful.

As a world traveller I would place this house in the top tier of properties that i have stayed in. My wife and I will definitely return. Truely worth five stars.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Romantic Getaway

The cottage was fantastic, perfectly clean and lovely (over generous) service provided by the owner.
