70 metres from the sand, situated right in the beachfront zone at Praia da Luz, this unique property comprises one villa sleeping 10, and neighbouring villa sleeping 6, offered separately for rent. Each villa has its own heated pool and private garden. Tastefully furnished and equipped to a high standard, ideally positioned for family holidays, the properties offer not only the advantages and amenities of a central position next to the beach, but also a high level of privacy and security afforded by the enclosed walled gardens. A car is not at all necessary for a holiday at this property although there is car port parking for one car for each villa. Casa das Redes offers accommodation for up to 10 people with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, and is wheelchair accessible. The Folly offers accommodation for 4 people in the villa alone, or for 6 people if rented with the use of the guesthouse annex bedroom/bathroom suite. Pretty villa just 70m from the beach, central to all village facilities, offering complete privacy tucked away in a high walled garden. Bed 1 - Queen bed, en suite shower room. Bed 2 – Twin beds. Separate bathroom has bath, basin, WC. Living room with 2 large sofas, fireplace, Sat TV, DVD, CD open plan to dining area seats 8, and well equipped kitchen with large electric oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, etc. Washing machine. Glazed doors to patio shaded by flowering pergola with outside dining table and chairs, built in BBQ. Across the patio is the annex bedroom which sleeps 2 adults, has optional roll away single bed or cot for an extra child/baby, and en suite shower room. Pretty garden, sunbeds and total privacy for sunbathing, shade under huge mature palm tree. Newly refurbished heated swimming pool (7.5 x 4.5m) with built in steps. Outside shower. Discount available for groups of 4 in villa alone. off street parking for 1 car. The villa has a safe.

Praia da Luz has all the required facilities and entertainment for the smooth running of your holiday, but only 8 minutes drive is the historic harbour town of Lagos with museums, wide choice of restaurants and bars, great shopping and a pretty marina. Local beaches range from long and sandy to rocky coves where you can take a boat ride around the grottoes, or take a day trip on Dolphin safari. 20 minutes to the west is the rugged coast at Sagres and Cape St Vincent. For the kids there are coaches from Luz to the waterparks and zoomarine. 5 minutes from Luz is the popular Boavista golf course and there are several other courses within 20 minutes drive.

This house is therefore good for those who cannot manage stairs, but the bedroom and bathroom facilities cannot be considered to be wheelchair friendly. Please contact owner for clarification. A car is not necessary for a holiday at this property, but there is off street parking for one car in the car port. a second car may be parked in the street outside. Smoking is permitted in the garden only but please take care to use ashtrays for disposal, and not the flowerbeds!

We loved the location of the villa, literally 70 metres from the beach, the photographs are very accurate, the property was spacious clean modern and family friendly. Catherine (the owner) was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I would certainly recommend this villa, and hope to go back sometime soon.

We loved the resort of Luz, its very family friendly, spotlessly clean and plenty of cafes and restuarants to suit every budget.
