You can enjoy a swim in your own private pool(summer months only) Private walled patio from kitchen for your alfresco dining. Peaceful location in a small hamlet 10 mins from Alcala La Real. This house offers all facilities to make your holiday more enjoyable,books,games,DVD's. Wireless internet access. Welcome basket included in price(milk,bread,butter,ham,eggs,wine). Parking at rear of cottage. Granada 40 mins away,Malaga and beaches 2 hours.

Nearest Airport: Granada/Jaén at 47 Kilometres
Car: necessary
The nearest town is Alcalá la Real about a 10 minute drive away. It offers all the amenities of a medium sized town with plenty of shops, restaurants, bars,and supermarkets for your food shopping. Market day is on Tuesday which gets very busy so arrive early,plenty of bargains to be had. Buses leave the town to Granada or it is a 40 min drive through some stunning landscapes. The town is built around the foot of the castle and church which you can visit and has fantastic views over Alcala,at night it looks amazing illuminated.

Andalucian Escape

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Casas Nuevas. The beautiful weather certainly helped but the house is perfect for a quiet, relaxing week in the heart of the Andalucian countryside. It is also convenient for visiting towns in the area. Alcala La Real (with two very good supermarkets as well as the famous fortress!) is ten minutes down the road.
Priego de Cordoba and Jaen are also certainly worth a visit. The hosts gave us a very warm welcome and were most helpful throughout the week. Local people were also friendly.
We enjoyed a number of walks through the olive groves and were able to cook for ourselves on our return in a very adequate kitchen. It was very cosy in the October evenings. We also made a lot of use of both the patio and roof terrace.
All in all thoroughly recommended.

A beautiful place for a rural stay

We (parents and 2 children) had a very pleasant stay in this cottage. We do recommend people to visit this very tastefully renovated part of a farmhouse with all the convenience of this modern time. The hospitality of the owners is striking: the place is well maintained, a welcome package lies in the fridge and the owners provide you with all kind of touristinformation.
Many well known sites in the surrouding area: Cordoba, Granada, the Sierra Nevada's (beautiful hiking possibilities!) and Jéan.
Too much for one week. Therefore we promised ourselves to return one day!

great cottage!
not to mention the owners!!
everything you need to relax your stay in the Alcala le Real region.
just 5miles away from Alcala and the main road from Granada to Cordoba.
We will be certainly be back.
