Photos and Description of this Carvoeiro holiday villa Sleeps 7, extremely comfortable villa only minutes from the Carvoeiro centre.

Villa Mimosa is a recently totally refurbished and extremely comfortable villa which sleeps 6 (plus cot or Z bed for 7th), only minutes from the centre of Carvoeiro. It's peaceful location, elegant decor and affordable price are the ingredients to ensure a totally successful family holiday. The villa has it's own private pool, which is fully visible when adults are seated in the lounge, for child supervision. The pool terrace has a shaded area for al fresco dining during the heat of the day, or for evenings. The purpose built BBQ is close by as is a permanent fully tiled seating and table area set in concrete to the side. The lounge has 2 leather sofas for guests' comfort, a TV with Free satellite channels and a DVD for entertainment. There is also a separate dining area off the lounge with table and 6 leather seated chairs for dining comfort. The kitchen is fully fitted and the separate utility room houses a washing machine and an area for ironing if required.

The villa is situated in the Solferias area of Carvoeiro, only 10/15 minutes walk into the village itself where there are 101 quality restaurants and bars. There are 4 local beaches, 2 x water parks, dive centres, tennis, golf and many other activities, all within easy distance. For example 2 x beaches are within 15 mins walk. Slide & Splash, Aqualand, Zoomarine where you can swim with dolphins, and three 18 hole championship golf courses are within 10-25 minutes driving distance. You do not require a hire car for your nights out, and taxis are approx 4 or 5 euros for each way journey into the village.

Notes: There is a no smoking policy inside the villa but it is permitted outside on terraces. A Z bed (fold up bed type) or a cot is available for a 7th person at a small additional charge. All linen and bath towels supplied, but not beach/pool towels. Linen changed once weekly, towels twice weekly (i.e. once every 3 or 4 days). Maid service supplied once weekly at no charge.

Attractions: Two large water parks, Aqualand and Slide & Splash are in the area. The latter 10 mins drive, the former 15-20 mins. ZooMarine, where you can swim with dolphins, and watch aquatic shows is also within 20 minutes drive. The picturesque towns of Silves and Monchique are certainly worth a visit, as are a number of other beautiful towns/villages in the area. A hire car is recommended for this although there are various coach tours available.

Golf Information: There are two 18 hole championship golf courses within 15 minutes drive from the villa, namely Pinta and Gramacho. There is also a very well designed 9 hole (par 3) course just on the outskirts of Carvoeiro, around 5 minutes drive away. Penina and the 'Golden Triangle' courses are also just a short drive away.
