Our villa is bright and airy, overlooking the pool, ideal for parents to oversee their children without having to leave the villa. The front patio with table, chairs and parasol is ideal for those romantic evening meals al fresco. The villa has everything you may need for a self-catering holiday. Linen/bath towels are provided and changed once a week although you need to bring your own pool/beach towels. There is a small well stocked supermarket with a bar/coffee shop on the site. This recent addition offers computer access, large screen TV and convenient fast food. We have a lady who lives on the complex who manages the villa and is available to offer assistance if you need it. The complex is tidy & well maintained. It is quiet, consisting of just over a 100 residential villas with a large pool and a paddling pool. Sun lounges are available to residents on the complex.

Puerto Calero is an upmarket area with its world renowned marina. We are less than 7 minutes walk from the marina, which offers a range of reasonably priced restaurants, a bar & a few exclusive shops. From the marina, a short walk along the coast, offers opportunities to swim off the rocks in crystal clear water which is ideal for snorkelling. Less than ten minutes from the marina, along the coast is a small sandy beach for sunbathing.

If you enjoy the water, Lanzarote offers action-packed adventure from windsurfing and parasailing to jet skiing and scuba diving. Fishing expeditions and sailing trips are also available, as well as dolphin and whale watching outings - all of which can be booked at the Marina. For something more relaxing, you might try the modern thalasso-therapy centre at the Iberostar hotel, just opposite the complex. The treatments offer Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, massage, algae, mud therapies, hairdressers and beauty salon. Puerto del Carmen which is more of a tourist centre is about 2km away. Here you will find many bars, clubs, restaurants and duty free shops along the sea front. Recently opened in Tias (2km), is a fabulous new 18 hole golf course which offers club and buggy hire if you need it.

Further a field: In order to enjoy the island fully, we recommend you hire a car. Explore the vast sand beaches around the Punta de Papagayo peninsular in the South. Take a trip to Fire Mountain and have a barbecue with a difference. Forget charcoal – your steak will be cooked by the natural heat of the volcano. Enjoy a fun-packed day at the aqua park at Costa Tequise. Visit the Fundación César Manrique, built in volcanic bubbles in the rock, which is now an art gallery housing works by Picasso, Miró and many more. Take a trip on the glass-bottomed catamaran to Fuerteventura and look out for playful dolphins on the way. Explore the Cueva de los Verdes – a stunning complex of caves and galleries. Take a camel ride or go horse riding in the country. Wander the streets of the main town of Arricife, enjoy a coffee or some traditional tapas.

We spent great 15 days at this property. Clean and well equipped base for relaxing in the sun.
It offers what it says. Friendly, flexible owners.
Property is based in the up-market, secure and quiet modern settlement.
