Ground floor: Separate kitchen with fridge, microwave, electric oven, full size ceramic hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, iron/ironing board, kettle, coffee filter and toaster. Living/dining room: double aspect, sunny room - dining table for 8, corner double sofabed + single day/bed + armchairs/LCD flat screen TV(satellite)/DVD player/CD player/ WI FI. In the basement of the chalet there is a heated ski/boot room and additional space for storing mountain bikes/other outdoor equipment. Apartments serviced weekly/changeover day. Situated just 60 metres from the centre of Ramsau Kulm, Haus Heidi enjoys the convenience of shops, bars and restaurants close at hand, whilst also enjoying a rural feel being surrounded by alpine meadows in this charming, traditional Austrian ski village. Set on a plateau at 1200 metres, the village is a popular winter and summer resort offering lots of winter activities: skiing on 200km of groomed piste, horse sleighs, horse riding, and cross country skiing - the track is just 10m from the door. Summer activities include: hiking, climbing, rafting, canyoning, a local paragliding school, swimming in lake or fun pool, 2 excellent 18-hole golf courses: nearby Dachstein-Tauern, (by Bernhard Langer), and Radstadt just 10 & 20 mins respectively. Only 86 km from Salzburg (1 hour by car). 4.5 km from the market town/ski resort of Schladming. 7km from Dachstein Glacier, (Europe's most Easterly Glacier), guarantees year round snow and considered to be one of Austria's best free ride areas

Additional information about rental rates

  • Our summer prices include the Schladming Dachstein 'SUMMER CARD' which entitles all our guests to unlimited free travel on local ski lifts, unlimited free entry to local swimming pools and lakes, free kids activity clubs, free travel on local buses and many reductions on other attractions in the Schaldming Dachstein region - particularly good value for families.
  • A deposit of 20% is payable on booking (non-refundable) - the balance is due 4 weeks before arrival. If booking within 4 weeks of your arrival, the full amount is due on booking. Travel insurance is recommended to cover cancellation costs.
    The price for the apartments includes linen and towels. We do not make an additional charge for cleaning. There is a local tourist tax of €1.50 per adult per day (16 and over).
  • Changeover day in the winter hgh season is usually Saturday although there may be occasions when this can be varied on request if possible e.g. when late booking. Changeover days are flexible at other times of the year. Check in time is any time after 16:00pm. Check out time is by 10:00am please. We like to give all our apartments a really thorough cleaning between each and every changeover so we cannot guarantee that an apartment can be ready before 4pm on changeover day. If you do arrive early it is possible to leave your bags in the hallway and then return later.

Notes on accommodation: The apartments are serviced weekly on changeover day. Included in each apartment are: Large Austrian pillows, fluffy duvets, duvet covers (all 100% cotton bedding), cosy Austrian throws/patchwork quilts - according to season, comfy cushions, snow white towels/bath mats/face cloths, table linen/tea towels. Haus Heidi is suitable for children and has open space surrounding the chalet which is great for sledging fun in winter and in summer we are surrounded by wild flower meadows. Our apartments have full central heating and are warm and comfortable. They also have large private balconies from which to enjoy the Alpine ambiance at all times of the year. We supply balcony furniture for all the balconies: Table and chairs, sun loungers and parasols are all supplied for the private balconies attached to the apartments. In the basement of the house there is also a heated ski and boot room and additional space for storing mountain bikes and other outdoor equipment. Off-road parking spaces.

Ski: Ramsau lies at a height of 1,200m and nestles at the foot of the Dachstein glacier which is 3,000m. Ramsau is 4km from Schladming (Hosting 2013 World Ski Championships),forming part of the Schladming-Dachstein Amade with 200 km of superb interlinked local pistes and a total of 860 km of piste on the same lift pass! The Skiing/snowboarding on offer in this area is truly world class! Snow is guaranteed locally on the Dachstein Glacier, the training ground of many international ski teams. Although this ski area is particularly good for intermediate & advanced skiers/boarders, (annually hosting famous international ski competitions such as the World Cup Night Race), Ramsau also has excellent nursery slopes for children/beginners, good English speaking ski school for all ages and some challenging reds. Ramsau is also a major centre for cross country skiing with over 150 km of beautifully prepared cross country tracks. The cross country ski track is just outside our door!

Our Holiday at Haus Heidi

We had a wonderful Christmas holiday at Haus Heidi. The apartment was cosy with a Christmas tree and decorations, tastefully decorated and furnished, well-equipped and clean, surrounded by beautiful scenery. Jan, Jeff and Poppy were welcoming and helpful, even ordering and collecting our turkey for Christmas dinner. The skiing was terrific and would recommend Haus Heidi for a great holiday.

Thank you for our stay at Haus Heida. The apartment was immaculate and the skiing first class. Your attention to detail and tasteful décor really made us feel 'home from home' and you have set a new high standard for ski apartments! You made us most welcome and we are already planning to return with friends next year.
We can see that it would be lovely in the summer for walking and enjoying the wonderful scenery. We wish you the very best as you definitely deserve to do well!
