TRANSFERS TO AND FROM DALAMAN AIRPORT:
Transfers can be arranged to and from Dalaman airport if required,
The current cost is £80-00 per four people based on a return trip.
Extra people can be transferred at a cost of £20-00 each based on a return trip.
Infants (aged between 0 and2) are transferred free of charge.
Grocery packs can also be arranged, something which we found very helpful if you arrive late at night or early morning. It includes tea, coffee, sugar bread, butter, milk, bananas, fruit juice, water and jam and costs £5-00 per person.
PLEASE NOTE.
Apon entry to Turkey you will be required to purchase an entry visa at a cost of £10-00 per person, this is purchased at the airport at the entry visa desk before proceeding to passport control. It is a simple proceedure but one that you need to be aware of, I have found by having the fee's ready together with your passport( and they like to have British pounds) helps with the smooth flow through Dalaman Airport.
THE TURQUOISE COAST.
Also known as the Turkish Riviera the coast of the ancient counrty of Lycia offers the most spectacular coastline in the Mediteranean, wonderful culture and history, unbeatable hospitality and EXCELLENT value for money!
Temp range 25 - 40*c (May - Oct)
The pristine turquoise blue waters with tiny and picturesque coves, lush mediteranean vegetation and a summer of blue skies with hardly a drop of rain from May to October makes this a true natural paradise. The locals are genuinely the friendliest people with a culture and cuisine that is thousands of years old
OLUDENIZ:
Quite simply this natural park is Turkey’s most famous and photographed beach – a wide bay of white sand curving round to meet a sheltered natural lagoon. The water in the lagoon is warm, still and crystal clear, making it it a wonderful and safe spot for children to play and explore. The Beach front has waves and all the activities such as watersking, scuba diving, sailing and jetskis you could need for an exciting holiday. But perhaps the most famous and not to be missed activity is the paragliding from the (6500ft) top of Babadag mountain. Sit relaxing at one of the many beach front bars watching them come in to land, or fly tandem if you’re feeling brave enough.
Lots of organised excursions can be booked locally. The surrounding countryside is breathtaking and great day trips include the trip to the TURKISH EVERGLADES at Dalyan (the famous setting for the film AFRICAN QUEEN) and on to turtle beach after you have passed the ancient rock tombs. This is my favourite trip.
