Orchid Villa is a a detached two double bedroom villa set in the gentle hills overlooking Chaweng. One bedroom has a double bed and the other twin beds. Both bedrooms have en-suite facilities, one with walk-in shower and the second with bath tub. There is a fully fitted western style kitchen and a large lounge/diner with sea and mountain views. This is an ideal villa for those who wish to get away from it all but still be within close proximity to shopping, restaurants, beaches and night life. Perfect for honeymooners! The villa has a private 16 sq.m. pool and enjoys a sunrise aspect with sea and mountain views. A vehicle is included with this rental (subject to valid driving licence).

Orchid Villa is located in the hills overlooking Chaweng - a five minute drive to the main island ring road. The main tourist town of Chaweng is a 10-15 minute drive away and only a 5 minute drive to Tesco/Lotus superstore. Chaweng boasts one of the best beaches on the island. Koh Samui's main ring road circling the island is approx. 50km so access to anywhere on the island is only a short drive away.

Wonderfully quiet setting

Jacqui and Mike made our stay at Orchid Villa 2 absolutely fabulous.
Nothing was ever too much trouble for them.
The villa is beautiful and in such a wuiet area yet close enough to the noise (if that is what you want)
Laying out on the terrace at 7am in the gorgeous sunshine was so peaceful and tranquil.
A car was laid on which is needed to get around the island.
Anybody looking for the perfect get away need look no further than here, it has evrything a family / couple will ever need.
We got married in Samui and Jacqui and Mike came to our wedding and there company made our day even more special so thank you both very much.
See you both in December.

Samui retreat

We had a lovely 2 week stay in a great villa to recharge ourselves . The villa was as described, very clean and well maintained. Jacqui and Mike were available when needed but left us alone which was perfect for us. We've stayed places before when you get daily visits that get a bit intrusive! The villa is in a quiet location in the hills behind Chaweng - so quiet but within easy driving distance of the beaches, sights and restaurants in Samui. We would be more than happy to stay here again and would recommend the villa to others looking for a stay in Samui.

Loads of really good eateries in Samui but our long time favourite restaurant is Seaview on the beachfront in Maenam. Look for the Chinese temple and then go onto the beach and you won't be far away. Sitting on a table on the beach with sand under your toes eating stir fry king prawns in chilli with pineapple rice is the best! Much prefer this place to more upmarket venues like Poppies. If you go to Samui try and have a drive round to the quieter end around Lipa Noi - very different to Chaweng, Lamai and Mae Nam. February was a lovely time of year to visit Samui. Quite quiet (or is that a result of the credit crunch?), lovely temperature and not as humid as other times of the year.
