Cornish terraced Queen Ann cottage in Flushing: A quiet waterside village overlooking the Falmouth, Penryn estuary. 'Creekle Cottage' Number 24 Trefusis Road has been substantially refurbished over recent years and comprises on the ground floor a double twin bedded bedroom with private access to its own shower room and toilet. Opposite across the hall is a comfortable snug/TV room with original open fire place. To the rear of the ground floor is a large kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is impeccably finished with granite work surfaces and top of the range Neff appliances. On the first floor there is a large double bedroom with adjacent family modernised bathroom and nearby small single/nursery bedroom. The whole of the front of the first floor comprises a large airy sitting room with views over Flushing quay and the Penryn estuary. On the second floor is the master double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and panoramic views over Falmouth harbour. There is a raised sunbathing area in the private garden and adequate room for barbecuing.

All about Flushing: Flushing is a delightful, peaceful waterside village with no through traffic. A ferry service runs from the quay to Falmouth where ferries to other locations ie. Helford Passage and St Mawes.run frequently. At one end of the village there is access to a tidal beach, and behind Kiln Quay house there is a path leading to the headland of Trefusis point and a spectacular walk of some two miles to Mylor Harbour and marina where there is a chandlery, sea food restaurant, bistro and cafe. Flushing is ideally central for visiting many beautiful Cornish gardens including The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Trebah and the Eden Project. St Mawes and the Roseland peninsular are a short ferry trip away as is the fascinating Maritime museum. Further to the South are many delightful Cornish coves and towns including Penzance from where one can travel by helicopter or ferry to the Isles of Scilly. Flushing village centre also has a village store a local pub, wine bar and restaurant on the quay.

Location: Flushing with its south facing views and sheltered position is reputedly one of the sunniest villages in Cornwall. The location within the Penryn estuary is an ideal location from which either to view or participate in the many boating activities in and around Falmouth and the Carrick Roads an area forming a part of which is reputedly the third largest natural harbour in the world. Across Falmouth Bay one passes many sandy beaches such as Swanpool and Maenporth on the way to the Helford river where one can also visit Trebah Gardens and others nearby. We recommend Falmouth Golf Club to golfers of all abilities. The club welcomes all visitors to their established par 71 course which winds its way along Cornish cliff tops with stunning views across Falmouth Bay. Their facilities cater for all levels of golfer, from beginner onwards and include a fully stocked golf shop and PGA professional. The golf club is 15 minutes drive from the house (approx 5.5 miles).
