The summer residence and pension „Marcel“ is originated from a in 1822 build farmhouse. For its purpose the interior is fully rebuild and renovated to offer you the most of modern comfort and traditional ambiance. It lays on a very pleasant and silent position off-site the village surrounded by grasslands and woods. It’s a perfect holiday resort for couples, families or groups up to 17 persons. The Vosges offer our guests a scenic mountain landscape with much recreational possibilities. Wayfarers, mountain bikers and nature lovers of all kinds will find here a real paradise. Beside a pétanque-place in front of the house there are many possibilities to go in for summer and winter sports. There are also bathing facilities, skiing regions and many sightseeing’s in the adjacency accessible.

Plainfaing lays in the Vosges at an altitude of 700 m near the RN 415, about 30 km west of Colmar straight behind the Col du Bonhomme (950 m). The village is close-knit with the neighbour village Fraize where is the “Office de Tourisme” as well as many shopping facilities. 18 km west lays the next big city Saint Dié.

gelungenes Familientreffen

Wir (drei Geschwister mit Familien und Mutter) waren über Ostern für fünf Tage im Ferienhaus Marcel. Vorab: es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir bereits für nächstes Jahr wieder gebucht haben. Es hat alles gepasst: tolles, geräumiges Haus, sehr geschmackvoll und ansprechend eingerichtet. Es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht, bis ins Detail (z.B. in der Küche). Auch ein Pizza-Steinofen im Haus (welcher super funktioniert). Das Grundstück war einfach traumhaft, mit Frosch-/Forellenteichen (man darf angeln), Wiesen, Wald, Grill- und Feuerstelle. Die Eigentümer: super-nett, sehr hilfsbereit, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Ein Domizil zum Wohlfühlen (und wir haben schon einige Ferienhäuser ausprobiert zum Zwecke unserer Familientreffen - keines kam nur annähernd an das Haus "Marcel" heran). Großes Lob an die Eigentümer!

Ein ganz tolles Ambiente verbunden mit einer super Lage. Ideal zum Entspannen, Natur und Kultur erleben,...
Eignet sich optimal für eine kleinere Gruppe, durch die tolle Einrichtung machen auch ein paar Schlechtwettertage nichts. Äußerst nette und zuvorkommende Hauseigentümer!

4 Sterne Haus in den Vogesen !

Wir waren im Mai 2007 und über Silvester 07/08 im Hause Marcel und waren in allen Maßen zufrieden.
Lage und Ausstattung waren exakt genau so wie in dem Online-Inserat beschrieben.
Das modernisierte Haus war sehr gepflegt und wir fühlten uns gleich sehr wohl. Wir nutzen im Mai den Grillplatz, nachdem wir aus dem Fischteich ein paar Forellen gefangen hatten. An einem anderen Tag backten wir Flammkuchen in dem eigens dafür gebauten Ofen.
Zu empfehlen ist die 4-Seen Wanderung, die wir am Lac Blanc starteten. Es ist eine der schönsten Wanderungen in den Vogesen.
Das Vermieter Ehepaar ist sehr nett und sehr hilfsbereit, wenn wir diese benötigten.
Wir können mit sehr gutem Gewissen dieses Ferienhaus weiter empfehlen, und werden auch selbst gerne wieder einen Urlaub dort verbringen.

Prima Ferienhaus!

Das Ferienhaus bietet allen Komfort. Die Ausstattung ist hochwertig und gepflegt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, um nicht zu sagen etwas abseits - aber eben typisch für die Vogesen. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder dort einen Kurzurlaub verbringen.

Super renoviretes Haus mit allem was mann braucht

"Super schönes Haus in toller abgelegener Lage mit liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmern. Küche und Bäder sind super ausgestattet. Alles sehr sauber. Unserer Biker-Gruppe (15 Personen: 10 Motorräder) hat es super gut gefallen und wir werden wieder kommen. Die Zufahrt ist zwar etwas abenteuerlich, meine Frau fragte ob wir hier auch richtig sind, aber das Haus, das wunderschöne Grundstück mit diversen Verweilmöglichkeiten, Outdoor - Grill, Holzbackofen und die Forellenteiche in idyllischer Landschaft lassen einen das ganz schnell - vielleicht bei einem brunnengekühlten Bier - vergessen. Die Vermieter und deren Hund (Teddy? Er mag Bier, und klaute es aus dem Brunnen), die gleich nebenan wohnen sind übrigens auch super nett Ich denke man liest eine Begeisterung heraus! Auch wegen den tollen Motorradstrecken. Für Gruppen ist das Haus wie geschaffen, einfach toll.
