Photos and Description of this Alcossebre holiday apartment

Our seafront apartment, for that special holiday is situated in Alcossebre, just north of Valencia on the Costa del Azahar. The lounge is fully furnished including DVD, CD player and television. The separate kitchen has dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric cooker and ceramic hob and microwave. Utility Room with washing machine etc. The 2 double bedrooms (one with kingsize bed, and the second with 2 single beds have fitted wardrobes). We also have a fold up bed for a family of 5. There are 2 bathrooms (one en-suite) and a large balcony overlooking the gardens, beach and sea. As a bonus there is a small supermarket a couple of minutes walk from the apartment block which has a wide variety of food including fresh bread and cakes. There are many other small supermarkets and shops in the town. Alcossebre is a picturesque resort with 5 blue flag sandy beaches, no high-rise buildings and a good choice of bars and restaurants.

Place details: If you want to 'chill out', then you do not have to leave the resort, where there is swimming, walking cycling, horse riding and water sports - scuba diving, jetskis and paddle boats in the season. There are many bars and restaurants with a wide choice of food - French, Italian, English, Chinese and even a good Indian. Obviously there are many very good Spanish restaurants. There are many interesting places to visit along the coastline and also slightly inland - Peniscola (where they filmed E Cid), Benicarlo, Vinaros, Reus with large theme par, Benicassim with its large waterpark, Castellon, Valencia etc. There is tenpin bowling a short distance up the A340 road close to Benicarlo and a small shopping mall attached.
