Stay on a working farm in luxury! We have converted some barns into 3 fantastic oak beamed self-catering cottages with modern facilities throughout, all finished to an exceptional standard. On the edge of the Somerset's Mendips Hills & amidst the famous cider making & Cheddar strawberry growing area, the cottages are next to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There is opportunity to see the animals & we also have our own river frontage on the River Axe for private fishing! The cottages (which can be hired individually or together for larger groups) are an ideal base for visits to many of Somerset's nearby attractions. Outdoor pursuits eg fishing, walking, horse riding & golf can all be catered for & cottage guests have use of the nearby Webbington Hotel & Spa facilities (swimming pool, gym, spa, tennis courts, bars & restaurant). Crooks Peak is owned by the National Trust and after a scenic walk to its summit you can survey the Somerset Levels as far as Glastonbury Tor!

TIARKS (named after the family that used to reside at the Webbington Hotel) accommodates 6 adults & 1 baby & has the benefit of being on one level & is therefore suitable for the elderly/less mobile & has its own patio to the rear. This cottage has full central heating throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, electric oven/hob and microwave. The lounge/dining area has a leather suite, wide screen TV with FreeSat, DVD, and Wifi. The bedrooms consist of 1 double bed, 2 single beds and 1 double sofa bed in the lounge. The bathroom has a 'P' bath/shower, shaver point, toilet, hand basin and heated towel rail. Directly outside the properties is a large patio area equipped with individual outdoor furniture. The large, communal and enclosed gardens and children's activity play area are located across the courtyard. Practicalities: Self Catering Rates: All inclusive of all power, bed linen and towels, along with a Somerset goodies welcome pack.

A perfect holiday

We have just returned from a very enjoyable week in Tiarks. The cottage is absolutely perfect, I could not believe that we weren't the first people to stay there. Everything is pristine and the the furnishings are luxurious. Julie and Mark (the owners) have thought of everything even Iphone charger clock/radios by the side of the beds!

Our children loved the idea of being on the farm and were keen to see the calves being fed. Mark was more than willing to take us to see cows being milked or even fed in the fields although we were never back from our travels in time!

Julie and Mark are very hospitable, they will do all they can to ensure you have a great time and are always available if you need anything at all.

Tiarks suited us really well, the private patio was useful for the kids to play although they normally headed over to the large garden to play on the climbing frame. It was totally safe and they loved having the freedom to pull on their wellies in the morning and run outside.

Another great plus was having the Webbington hotel just next door to visit and have a swim. The sea was far too cold for us!

If you are considering a visit to Webbington Farm Cottages then I would strongly recommend you do. You will not be disappointed.

What a fantastic cottage

Just got back from staying at Tiarks cottage and I have to say the advert does not do it justice, we have had a wonderful week. The farm is a big plus my daughter wanted to see the animals every time we left the cottage. Julie and her family could not have been more helpful and this just made the experience all the more enjoyable. Anyone looking should go as you will not be disappointed.
