This is a luxurious vacation house (186 m²), with exclusive furniture, which was let for the first time in 2006 (by then it had been used privately). The house is located directly on the golf course Ridgewood Lakes, approx. 20 miles southwards from Orlando, 12 miles from Disney World, in a watched region. The house has 3 bedrooms, with a TV set each, 1 office with PC and sofa bed, 1 master bathroom, 1 small bathroom and 1 completely equipped kitchen. (Washing machine and drier are available). From the beautiful and heated pool, you have a view westwards, upon the golf course and the sea. The ideal occupancy is 4 - 5 people. Telephone (Call Card) and fax machine are available. Furthermore, there are bikes, rollerblades, golf clubs and fishing possibilities for the free time. An electric barbecue was thought for warm evenings by the pool. You can find tennis grounds within 400 m. The house is for non-smokers.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The rental rate per day (from 85 Euros) is for 2 people. For each further person and day, the price will be increased with 5 Euros. The maximum occupancy is 6 people. The minimum stay is 7 days. Shorter stays, only on request. Additionally, you have to pay 75 Euros for the final cleaning. If you need extra heating for the pool, you will be charged with an extra amount of 10 Euros a day. After the binding letting, you are expected to pay 250 Euros from the rental rate. This amount will be kept by the owner in the case of cancellations, if there are more than 4 weeks left until the arrival. You need to pay the complete rental rate if you make the cancellation later than 4 weeks before the scheduled arrival. The 200 Euros deposit is meant for possible damage, and this will be retained within 14 days after the end of your stay. If there is no damage, then you will receive back the complete amount.

Golf: In the close vicinity of Ridgewood Lakes, there are several other wonderful golf courses. My favourite golf course is Celebration GC, then Falcon`s Fire (Kissimmee) and Southern Dunes (all of them within approx. 5 - 12 miles). The golf course of Ridgewood Lakes belonged to the Top 30 golf courses in Florida (Golf News 2001). In the neighbourhood of Orlando, there are more than 80 golf courses, among which there is the well known PGA golf course, TPC at Sawgrass, Buena Vista and Championsgate. Wir haben in dieser wunderschönen und gepflegten Villa unseren diesjährigen Sommerurlaub verbracht.. Die Beschreibung des Hauses hat uns ja nun wirklich viel versprochen, aber das Original war noch besser. Das Haus ist großzügig aufgeteilt und bietet auch für Selbstversorger wie uns, einfach alles was man braucht. Wir sind am frühen Nachmittag in Orlando angekommen. Nach der Wegbeschreibung, die wir zusammen mit einer "Bedienungsanleitung" des Hauses erhalten hatten, war es kein Problem die Anlage zu finden. Die Hausbetreuerin Betty ist einfach eine Perle. Sie war gerade mit allen Vorbereitungen fertig geworden und hat uns alles gezeigt und erklärt. Sie wohnt 3 Häuser weiter und ist wirklich jederzeit erreichbar und gibt gerne Tips für Ausflüge und Einkäufe. Hier hatte auch der Vermieter schon einige Adressen genannt. Der nahegelegene Supermarkt ist wirklich optimal sortiert und bietet alles was das Herz begehrt. Die gesamte Golf-Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und ruhig. Hier findet jeder seine Erholung. Die Kinder können im Pool tollen und die Eltern in der Sonne liegen und entspannen. Auch das Haus und der Poolbereich sind in einem optimalen Zustand. Es gibt gepflegte Sitzgarnituren, Poolnudeln, mehr als ausreichende Mengen an Handtüchern etc.. Wer Steaks liebt, wird in Amerika sehr, sehr gutes Fleisch finden, dass man dann am Abend auf den Grill legen kann. Einfach toll. Davenport liegt direkt neben den Freizeitparks von Disney, die vielseitige Abwechslung bieten. Ein Besuch des Kennedy Space Centers im Osten ist auch sehr empfehlenswert (Fahrzeit 1 Std.). Westlich bietet sich Tampa und Umgebung an. Hier kann man den Golf von Mexico besuchen, findet eine eher ruhige See und kann allerlei Tiere beobachten. Clearwater in der Nähe von St. Petersburg bietet sogar einen Zoo in dem man einen Delphin mit einer Flossenprothese besuchen kann. D.h. auch wenn man nicht die Disneyparks besuchen will bietet dieses Reiseziel eine gute Ausgangsbasis für Touren im nördlichen Florida. Wir können uns nur für einen wunderschönen und abwechslungsreichen Urlaub bedanken und jedem dieses Domizil wärmstens empfehlen. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter ist freundlich und unkompliziert, ebenso wie die Betreuung bei der Reisevorbereitung und vor Ort. Das Haus ist supergepflegt und bietet einen großen Erholungswert. Wenn wir wieder einmal nach Florida fahren gibt es für uns nur ein Ziel!

Nice and perfect Villa south of Orlando

My family and I (44,37,14,7,5) spend 2 weeks in October in this perfect nice villa. The owner is German and so we were able to contact him by phone. He is a very nice man and he took enough time to answer all our questions. After paying the deposit we got emediately all paper and the contract and after paying the whole price (4-6 weeks bevor we started) we got a perfect description how to find the villa. It was realy easy with this papers althrough we haven´t been in the Staates before. For other visitors - don´t worry. Everything worked perfect. Don´t go in one of this Hotels close to the parks - use this perfect villa.
The house is lovely everthing is in order and we´ve got a wellcome paket (for free !!!!) The refrigerater was full and I found a beer and my wife wine cold in there also! What can be better, after the flight.
The house is in the south of Orlando 20 min. by car from the Int. Airport. Mickey Mouse and the other parks are perfectly to visit. From the house to the Interstate 4 it takes 3 min. and then just going.
The description of the house/villa is correct. There are no stepps in the villa and one stepp to the pool. People with physical handicaps will also be able to stay in the villa.
Supermarkets are close (3 or 6 miles) and it takes 1 hour to the golf of mexico and 1 1/2 hour to drive to Kenedy Space Center.

Jetzt noch kurz auf Deutsch: Die Villa ist wirklich eine Villa. Fast 200 qm mit Pool voll eingerichtet, besser geht es nicht. Die Wohnanlage ist super, keinerlei Lärm und alles sauber und gepflegt wie man es aus dem Fernsehen kennt. Wer da noch in die Touristenbunker der Themenparks fährt ist selber schuld. Wir können dieses Haus uneingeschränkt weiteremfehlen.
