Great Apartment, great location, a solid workout

We had a wonderful stay at "Paris with a View" for five nights. There were three of us including a teenage daughter. The apartment was as described and it is comfortable for 3-4 people. The apartment is nicely decorated and well kept. We did not cook much but the kitchen was well stocked. The apartment has a panoramic view of Paris from both bedrooms. It is in a lively neighborhood so there was music at a performance area nearby but it did not last until late. There is lots to see in the immediate area and you can walk to many of the interesting areas of Paris. You must climb lots of steps (125) to get from street level to the building and, once in the building, about another 52 to get to the apartment. There is a bus you can take from one of the metro stations that will save you the first climb and drop you off near the building. We thought the apartment was worth the climb plus the exercise helped burn a lot of the calories. There a re a few nice restaurants in the area. We liked Pizzeria Pommodoro and Restaurant Le Durer. Wireless access in the apartment was easy to connect. We had our laptop but there is a Macbook available in the apartment--which helped to keep our daughter's Facebook page up to date. Lots of information in the apartment including metro, restaurants, and travel guides. The staff at "Feels Like Home in Paris" were helpful and very accommodating with our check in time. We would certainly stay there again.
Owner's Response: Just wanted to include a follow-up to this guest's email so as not to scare anyone off. : )
The apartment is located on the butte de Montmartre and is accessible by the stairs described by our guest but also by the Funiculaire which longs alongside rue Gabrielle (a sort of cable car/train that runs up the hill), or by the Montmartrobus (the electric bus), serving just the Montmartre area. So you don't actually have to climb up the 125 stairs unless you wish to. I think there may be less stairs if you try going up rue Chappe but I've never counted them myself.
We always recommend when arriving at the apartment with all your luggage, to take a taxi up. You can always contend with the stairs (or not), when you are more familiar with the area.
The way the comment is written, it makes it sound as if the apartment has two bedrooms. Sorry, this is not the case. It is a one-bedroom apartment. The living room has it's own door so it can be closed off so it makes it feel like a 2-bedroom. I just wouldn't want anyone expecting a two-bedroom. : )
We look forward to seeing you in Paris.
