Finding a Gem!

What a beautiful home, ideal for large families or groups. Near enough to Disney to be convenient, but far enough to be peaceful and relaxing. The pool area is excellent with enough space to enjoy the sun and be safe for young children with the pool safety screen. The location is great for shopping with a large Wal-Mart close by. Cheaper for Disney souvenirs than the gift shops. Visit Perkins diner for a traditional American breakfast (great pancakes), you won't be able to move all day!
Use the I4 to get to Disneyland as it's quicker than the US192, less traffic. Also very direct for Seaworld (might be worth visiting at the beginning of your stay as they sometimes offer free second day entry at the park. We ran out of days so couldn't make the most of this offer).
If you have young children, the owners have a couple of buggies in the garage for people staying in the villa to use. This can save the hassle of bringing your own and save you money as you won't need to hire one in the park (can cost $10-$12 a day). Also provided lots of toys for the pool so no need to buy these.
We were a 2 family group with children ranging in age from 16 to 3, so having the two lounges was ideal when people needed some quiet space. This wasn't the villa we had originally booked, so we had no idea what to expect, but wow when we walked in the first time it was amazing, everything was immaculate. There was a folder full of information and on the fridge a list of handy take-away numbers.
Also worth a visit is the Ponderosa restaurant, it's a little cafeteria in it's style, but great value for money and great for those with large appetites. Queue at the counter, choose a main course and refreshments, pay and collect ticket, choose a table. A waiter will collect your ticket and bring your meals to the table, in the meantime help yourself to the buffet included in the price of your meal, this can be anything from meatballs and spaghetti to ice cream and cakes, and you can go to the buffet as often as your stomach can bear! As with many diners soft drinks are free refills. Main course dishes ranged from $9.99 to around $20.
This was our second holiday in Florida and we will definitely be returning some time. Hopefully to this villa, and we totally recommend it.
Happy Holidays!!
