Situated in the beautiful village of Kaprun in the famous Europa Sport Region, apartment 'Kitz10' is conveniently located for the village, slopes, shops, bars and restaurants. Ideal for lakes and mountain holidays all year round, including all year skiing & snowboarding, plus walking, mountain biking and golf. Kaprun is in the heart of the Europa Sport Region where you will find a huge choice of summer and winter sports available for all, or just relax and enjoy the wonderful scenery! The apartment comfortably sleeps 4 people with a separate bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living room. Both the Bathroom and kitchen were completely refitted in 2006 and the apartment has plenty of storage space. The ski bus to Zell am See and the Kittzstein glacier is less than 5 minute walk away. With the apartment comes underground car parking and a balcony with a view over looking the mountains.

Kaprun is situated in the Hohe Tauren National Park in the heart of the Alps. The Kitzteinhorn Glacier is 3023m, the Schmittenhohe Mountain at 2000m and the Maiskogel Mountain (the family mountain) at 1675m are all nearby. The picturesque town of Zell am See and it's famous lake together with Kaprun form the Europasport Region. The highest waterfall in Europe, the largest ice caves in the world and the high alpine pass are all within easy reach. For a little history visit Hitler’s Eagles Nest and the historic city of Salzburg, the Christmas market should not be missed. Airlines currently operating to Salzburg are: Stansted Ryanair, Southhampton & Birmingham - Flybe, Leeds - Jet2, Gatwick - British Airways, Manchester - Thomson Fly, Dublin - Ryanair , It is approximately a 12 hour drive to Kaprun from Calais and the apartment comes with under ground parking. There are excellent rail and bus links from Salzburg airport to Zell am See (about 15 minutes from Kaprun).

Additional information about rental rates

  • Within a week of the booking a £100 non refundable deposit is required.
    Included in the price is bedding and towels for 2 people and the cleaning of the apartment.
    An additional fee of £12 is required for each extra person.
    It is expected that the apartment is left in the state you find it. Any extra cleaning needed will be deducted from your deposit.
    A security deposit of £150 will required.
    The change over day will normally be the Saturday.
    The apartment is available from 3pm and you need to check out by 10 am.

Skiing Information: Ski Slopes for all abilities including summer skiing: The white glacier slopes of Kitzsteinhorn are ideal for skiing and snowboarding not only in winter but also in summer. At a height of 3,029 m (9,938 ft), you'll find summer skiing pistes. There are ski schools for children and adults, cross country skiing, as well as ski huts for après-ski. In the ‘Europa-Sportregion’ there are 130 km (81 miles) of ski runs, over 59 pistes and four mountains, 57 cable cars and lifts and snow machines. Ski Bus: The bus stop is only 5 minute walk from the apartment. There are at least three ski buses an hour to take you to the Kitzsteinhorn (high-season). Once at the bus station in the valley you can either take the glacier jet or the cable cars directly towards the peak. Buses start running at 8 a.m. There are two buses an hour taking skiers to Schmittenhöhe. Ski Rental : There are numerous hire shops for skis and snowboards. Several shops even offer family rates.

Golf Information: You can play golf in beautiful scenery from April to November on two courses at the Golfplatz Europa Sportregion between Zell am See & Kaprun. The two courses are called 'Schmittenhöhe’ and ‘Kitzsteinhorn’ and they are graced by beginners and professionals. Great location-quiet and peaceful – beautiful views! The apartment is close to amenities. There are some lovely local restaurants. My partner and I eat out most evenings but we did find it quite expensive. The apartment was very clean and tidy, the kitchen was modern but rather small. Unfortunately the weather was quite bad on a few day but we did manage to do some exploring on our bikes and get to the gym and pool which are only a few minutes walk from the apartment.
