2 double bedrooms, (master bedroom with ensuite shower room), grand salon/dining with original stone fireplace and working bread oven, modern kitchen with dishwasher etc, 2nd bedroom has use of seperate shower and wc. Set within a small hamlet in a secluded position 2 km from nearest village of Leguillac, 10mins from Brantome, (The Venice of the Dordogne) and ideally situated to explore this famously gastronomic area. Plentiful walks with peace and quiet. There is swimming at the pool in nearby Vertillac, or in the crystal waters of the river Dronne at L'Isle with it's sandy beach. Visitors will want to visit the French markets at Brantome, Perigueux (twice a week) and Riberac for authentic local produce. Course and trout fishing, canoeing, an 18 hole golf course, bowling, boules, horse riding and mountain biking are all available locally, as are cinemas, aqua centre, ice rink (winter only). This is indeed, a perfect location!

Its many original features add to the ambience without detracting from the modern facilities. It's position within a small hamlet provides seclusion without isolation. Local facilities, boulangerie, restaurants, bars, cafe's etc can be found at La Tour Blanche. Brantome, 'the Venice of the Dordogne' with its charming riverside restaurants, ancient abbey and lively atmosphere is just 15km away. Perigueux a further 20km Located in the much sought after Perigord Vert national park, Combes Jolives can be accessed via Limoges, Bergerac or Bordeaux airports, all within an approximate 1.5hr drive. TGV services run to nereby Thiviers or Angouleme.

Very nicely renovated house surrounded by beautiful landscape of fields and woods. All rooms on one level. Completely quiet, great walks or cycling directly from the doorstep. Shops etc are an easy drive away. A very relaxing setting and a secluded place to recover from city life.
