This beautiful traditional Hydra house with its own pool is located centrally above the port and offers stunning sea views from its terraces and pool. This exceptional property comprises three integrated sections which affords privacy. The rooms have been furnished sympathetically and tastefully and fit in well to the general island feel. The main area of the house has a large living room equipped with a TV and DVD and includes a dining area and a well equipped kitchen. An internal stairway takes you up to the top of the house where you will find the master bedroom. If you feel the need, there is an office area with wireless broadband internet access. This level is air conditioned. The rest of the house is not. One wing of the house has a separate entrance. This two bedroom guest area has its own kitchenette and bathroom. Terraces lead off from various rooms with views of Hydra Harbour out to the sea from one side of the property and the interior from other. Exceptional location.

The plethora of artists and splattering of the famous gives Hydra the feel of chic and traditional Greek all mixed into one island all at once. The fisherman sits side by side with - ah that would be that would be telling! Not only would it be telling but it would be irrelevant here. That is Hydras appeal, the stress of modern life is forgotten. People are just people. As no cars are allowed, exploring is done on foot or by donkey along steps in the town area or earthen tracks and terraces higher up. As you wander around Hydra town you may feel transported back to another time. Higher up in the town, common sounds are donkeys' brays, cockerels' cries or the clip-clop of the donkeys' hooves on the cobbled lanes and terraces. The town offers traditional island and Venetian architecture. It has charming churches and a stunning landscape well worth seeing up close. There are beaches and places to swim within walking distance or by water-taxi. A unique island full of unique people.

Hydra: Hydra island is really something special. It can transpost you back in time to a more leisurely era. It can rejuvernate you on Mira Mare Beach with all the fun and games of beach life. It can restore your soul with it long hill top walks. It can pull the romance to the surface on it's coastal walks. It can stimulate your sense with it's exhibitions. It really is unique. But is the bijoux chic shops and hidden emporiums are not enough the boats leave many times a day for the nearby islands of Poros in one direction and Spetes in the other. What ever your needs are from your holiday it is very possible that this is the perfect location to begin from.

Mainland.: The local boats also go to Ermioni and Galatas (oppersite Poros) which are two place on the mainland. From here the Peloponeisse is laid at you feet. Mycenae, Epidavros, Tirins, Trizina (where Thesius was born.) Argos and many many smaller places of archiological interest are all within a days drive
