Lovely beachfront semi-detached duplex, overlooking the lawn sloping down to the beach, 20m away. Tables and chairs for alfresco lunch/dinner on the terrace or under the almond tree, overlooking the turquoise waters of the lagoon. Living/Dining: dinner table and chairs (sitting 8). Coffee table & armchairs with cushions. TV set (local channels), DVD player & telephone. Well-equipped kitchen: fridge/freezer, microwave, gas/electric cooker, coffee-maker, toaster, kettle & washing machine. 3 air-conditioned bedrooms on 1st floor sleeping 6 adults + a child. Maid service: (6/7), 3hr/day, except on Sundays and public holidays. Bed linen, bathroom towels, hair dryer, small safe, electric table grill, portable BBQ, internet (Wi-Fi), electronic alarm with immediate response. 20m to supermarket, chemist shop and several restaurants at walking distance.

Public Transport (bus): well organized with an efficient network. Our villa, Cyrano, is 10 Km from Port Louis, 4 Km from Grand Bay (various night activities, several restaurants, bars and night-clubs). Various nautical activities are available nearby: deep sea fishing, scuba diving, underwater exploration by submarine (at up to 30m depth), trips to the northern islands by catamaran, sailing boat or speed boat. Kite surf and parasailing. Snorkelling in the lagoon and on the barrier reef. Water skying and towed buoys operate right in front of the villa. Flying lessons on micro-light aircrafts available less than 1Km away.

Notes: We would appreciate that guests do not smoke in the bedrooms. Ceiling fan in the lounge and veranda. A good selection of French & English DVD films for children starring Lucky Luke, Tintin and Milou, Asterix and Obelix, etc. The residents may use the kayak, provided the parents accept responsibility for its use (not to be left on the beach, etc). Location: Trou aux Biches, Mauritius North Coast.: Trou aux Biches, on the north-west coast of Mauritius, is by far the most sought-after beach of the island, especially for its wide beach of powdery white sand and its safe lagoon for swimming – even for children. The lagoon, well protected by the barrier reef, is ideal for snorkelling and other nautical activities. There are many restaurants offering various cuisines at moderate price.. All amenities available nearby: supermarket, chemist shop, pizzeria, boutiques, banks, ATM’s. Bus-stops (in both directions) are only 15m from the villa.

Immediate surroundings: Grand Bay, 3 Km away, with its gastronomic restaurants, bars and night, are open till early morning. Club-Med (2 Km away) offers regular night entertainment. Visitors on holidays are always welcome and may enjoy entertainment, bar and restaurant facilities at moderate prices. The Trou aux Biches Casino (600m away): Roulette, Black Jack, and other coin-operated machines. A large variety of fish are displayed at the new Aquarium in Pointe aux Piments, the most popular vsiting time being when the sharks are being fed.
