Beautiful apartment situated in the town centre of the chic town of Aix en Provence South of France, made famous by artist Paul Cezanne and other impressionist painters. The apartment is in a prestigious address on the 'Cours Mirabeau' a famous tree lined avenue and in the centre of the cultural sites and restaurants, cafes and market squares. Aix town centre is a cultural delight, one can wander through the pedestrian streets and savour the beautiful architecture. Aix is within easy access to Marseille airport and only 3 hours on the TGV to Paris.

Great location but be prepared to climb

The apartment was just the right size for two people. The location was perfect - in the middle of the town but very quiet. There was a street fair going on on the Cours Mirabeau but you could not hear it in the apartment.
The only warning would be the 72 circular steps to reach the apartment. In a way that was okay because you eat dinner and work it off on the climb up.
All in all a great base to visit Provence.
