The farmhouse has been developed to provide four chic and stylish apartments that combine the luxuries of modern living with local flavour and tradition. Le Figuier means fig tree in English, hence the light green theme throughout this charming apartment. Designed for couples, it will accommodate an additional two young guests quite easily. There is no doubt that the terrace is the most striking feature of Le Figuier, with its simply splendid 180 degree views which take you beyond the gardens and heated infinity swimming pool into the stunning mountain vista beyond. The first room you will see is the kitchen/diner which has a table for 4 people and a kitchen which comprises hand made Provencal units with a refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, oven and hobs and a separate microwave oven. Leading from this room is the bedroom with a double bed, bedside tables and a hand made Provencal wardrobe

Ardeche offers plenty of sports . Locally, in Aubenas, there is go-karting, horse riding, tree climbing as well as quad-biking. Mountain bikes can be hired. The mountains offer excellent trails for mountain biking. There is no shortage of walking locations for ramblers either. Canoeing or kayaking gently down the river discovering all the wildlife along the way is a magical experience. Swimming with wild ducks feeding only a few metres away is a wonderful experience! A famous point along the river not to be missed is the Vallon Pont D’Arc, a natural stone bridge across the canyon. It is about 30m high and 50m wide. One of the natural wonders of the South of France.
