Self- catering property ideal for discovering the delights of Valencia. 3rd floor easy stairs but no lift. Tastefully furnished, bright and cheerful. Well equipped kitchen, double bedroom with antique wardrobe and 2nd bedroom with 2 singles. Tiled bathroom, modern and airy. We live next door so are on hand to meet you on arrival and to help out if needed. We offer a welcome dinner plus drinks and a fridge stocked with things for breakfast for the following days. Maps and guides available too. We will brief you on the city so you can be ready to explore immediately! The property is in a residential block in an area full of amenities, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and parks and a sports complex with indoor pool. Children are very welcome and we can provide cots and pushchairs for the little ones plus DVD´s to keep them happy while you are cooking etc! The metro station is close by to whisk you off to the beach or the airport! The centre? 10 mins on foot through the Serranos Towers.

The climate, fine sandy beaches, great shopping, the biggest food market in Europe a fantastic historic centre with the cathedral and Basilica and the wonderful ceramics museum. Visit the Oceanographic, Europe?s biggest aquarium next to the opera house and the science museum. The Bioparc is a must for the kids-an open plan state of the art zoo. Visit the Guildhall, the Granary now a museum or stroll along the river gardens to Gulliver or the Music Palace. Spent the evening in the 'CARMEN' for a taste of the night life in a city that never sleeps. A day at the beach taking the metro next to the apartment. Further afield visit the Albufera, a unique fresh water lake across the dunes from the sea or drive out to the Calderona national park 30 mins away. Take a train to nearby Segorbe and enjoy the wonderful scenery as you climb into the hills. Have an Horchata- that unique drink only produced here, enjoy a paella and sangria in the city centre.   • The main bedroom is furnished with well preserved antique furniture, including the double bed, two bedside tables, a dressing table and a large wardrobe all in the same style and colour. The second room is more modern with two single beds, a bedside table and a spacious wardrobe. The main bedroom is painted light calming blue and the second in a pale green. Both rooms have large windows and blinds. The floors are paved with Spanish terracotta in brown. The rooms are at the back of the apartment and very quiet.

Notes: The apartment has air conditioning and heating. Towels and bedlinen are provided and are included in the cost. Children are particularly welcome as we have three of our own! So plenty of toys and games for them. For those coming by car it isn't difficult to find a parking space in the area but owner can arrange secure parking space if necessary. There is a teasmade and a toaster in the kitchen plus microwave with plenty of pots and pans etc. We can provide 2 cots and a high chair on request for those with young children.

This place was a real find. Perfect situation for the city centre, only 10 minutes away, and not too far from the sea, and the owners bend over backwards to make you feel at home. We were served a stupendous and very generous welcome dinner and our children loved the toys thoughtfully placed in the apartment for our arrival. They were attentive throughout our stay and we became good friends.
The apartment is in perfect condition, with a clean and fresh bathroom, shiny parquet flooring, modern fittings and tasteful decorations.
We felt very much at home and were sorry to leave.

Excellent value

My son & I wanted somewhere to doss when we were over for the MotoGP.
It was certainly a lot more than that.
Nicely furnished & spotlessly clean & in a central postion close to all amenities, but above all Graham was the perfest host from the welcoming meal to the help he gave us especially in finding our way around.

The apartment is really nice. It is a very clean, bright and comfortable place to spend some time. The location is perfect, very close to the old center but in a vey calm and quite area. I have spent one week with my wife and our son. Graham and Marga welcomed us with a fantastic dinner and we could find everything we needed for our child (cot, high chair). Also, my son could play with toys, books and DVDs placed in the apartment. Graham and Marga are the perfect hosts, they made us feel like at home.
It is a very recommended place to stay in a visit to Valencia. I am sure we will go again in the future.
Owner's Response: We provide the apartment with all the things necessary if kiddies are coming; high chairs, cots, toys and games. My own children are always keen to meet these new young guests and show them how things work in the apartment! As we live next door the children are often coming in and out of each other´s home!

Nice apartment, great location

We were happy with this apartment. The location was perfect -- close enough to the city center, but far enough to feel in a neighborhood. The welcome dinner was a perfect way to avoid complete jet-lag meltdown. Our hosts were very helpful in giving an overview of the city. The only drawback was the noise from one late-night Flamenco party in one of the other apartments. However, I would definitely recommend this to a friend!
Owner's Response: We always offer a welcome dinner or lunch to our weary guests on arrival so it´s nice to hear the meal was enjoyed! We add wine too for those who enjoy the grape. I would like to point out that the "flamenco party" was not as such but a street party organised by the neighbourhood association and held once a year in October in the adjacent street to the apartment building as part of a fund raising scheme for local initiatives.

A wonderful month in Valencia

We have been renting this flat for the past 4 weeks, and it has been wonderful. Graham and Marga are the perfect hosts, and are very helpful. They truly made us feel at home, and after a couple days here, we felt more like locals than tourists. The flat is in an ideal location - - a close walk to the Old Town and all the sites, easy access to the river park, and if you're traveling out of Valencia, its easy to get out the motorways. Plus, there are two great restaurants in the neighborhood - Saboy and Sargantana - and all the shops, grocery stores and cafes you could need. Easy to hop on the tram to the beach as well (for dinner, try El Coso at the beach), and a 15 minute walk to a big shopping mall. Thank you to them both for a great month. We'll return someday!
