Our family owned residence offers a variety of romantic and charming apartments in a Renaissance building right next to Prague Castle. We are in the heart of Prague with all sights within walking distance. All accommodation is self-catering with a kitchen and private bathroom in each. Guests can choose from cosy studios, larger apartments and glorious suites. All apartments have been designed with luxurious details and some have incredible views of Prague and Prague Castle. All apartments have satellite TV and access to internet. We offer concierge services and breakfast in our charming Antique Cafe on the ground floor. You will not find more comfortable and delightful accommodation anywhere in Prague.

The Magdalena is a large sunny apartment with pleasant details. It sleeps up to 5 persons and has two rooms: a traditional bedroom and a living room with arched ceilings that doubles as a second bedroom. Both rooms are private and independent. The apartment has a modern kitchen with dining area. The kitchen includes all amenities of a home including dishwasher and fridge. The bathroom has luxurious details including a bidet and hydro-massage shower. The apartment is on the first floor and overlooks our historic street and stairs to Prague Castle. It includes satellite TV and free WiFi or access to a computer terminal.

Our Residence is located in Mala Strana. This is the oldest and most delightful neighborhood in Prague. We are directly next to Prague Castle. You can walk to all places of interest from our building. Prague Castle is a 3 minute walk from us. Charles Bridge is just 5 minutes away and Old Town Square is a 15 minute walk. There are great transport connections nearby as well. You will not find a more attractive and quieter place to spend your holiday. Our street is calm with nearly no traffic and it ends with the back stairs to Prague Castle. You will never find the noisy crowds of Old Town near our building. Some of our apartments have incredible views of our area. Mala Strana, or Little Quarter. Mala Strana is filled with passageways, galleries, cafes, restaurants and many styles of architecture. Our building alone has a wonderful story to tell. Nearby sights include: St. Nicholas' Church, Strahov Monastery, Church of Loreto, Petrin Park and the Infant of Prague Church.

A lovely apartment in a fantastic location

We visited Prague for the first time over new year 2008/09. Having never been to Prague before we researched the area which we wanted to stay in and identified Mala Strana as the perfect location.

Our initial enquiry was dealt with very quickly and we were very happy to be able to secure this 2 bedroom apartment. Throughout the booking process Martina was very quick at replying and very helpful and happy to answer a few questions about the layout of the apartment (we were 2 couples and wanted to ensure privacy). On arrival at the apartment we were greeted in a very friendly manner and shown straight to the apartment. We were all very impressed with the location and with the apartment itself. The apartment was clean with a good range of kitchen equipment. Perhaps the only slight complaint comes in this area though - the second bedroom bed was 2 oldish singles pushed together which had iron rims around the matresses. This made it a little uncomfortable since we were using them as a double. This aside though we were exceptionally happy with the apartment and would certainly recommend it to friends and family. The inclusion of a light breakfast at the cafe downstairs was a great bonus too.

The location of the apartment is ideal for exploring the whole of Prague especially the castle area and Old Town (New Town is a bit of a walk but we didn't mind since we didn't particularly rate this area!)

One of our favourite trips was up the funicular railway to Petrin observation tower. From the top of the observation tower you get a fantastic view of Prague and a real feel for the layout of the city and beyond. One of the other real highlights was seeing the fireworks to welcome in new year. We went up to the area around the castle and looked out over the river to Old and New Town. From just before midnight there was almost non-stop fireworks across this whole area for about an hour. We could also see fireworks for miles around - an amazing experience.

We had a lovely holiday which was helped hugely by the quality and location of the apartment. We would recommend this apartment to people looking for somewhere just away from the hustle and bustle but within easy walking distance of all the main attractions and life of the city.

Ludmila is absolutely a friendly, kind, cosy and lovely apertment.
I could say olny good things about the 3 day that we spent there. Everybody was very kind, and helpful, and the breakfast was good.
So we thank you very very much that we can use it.
I could offer to everybody because it is in a lovely place next to the Prague castle.
