Photos and Description of this Rome holiday apartment A unique place for your holidays

Situated on the first floor, the apartment is composed of a large sitting room fitted with a kitchenette, a round dining table and a double sofa bed (cm 160x190). The kitchenette is fully equipped and fitted with washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, gas stove, oven and microwave. Through the kitchenette it is possible to access one of the apartment’s two bathrooms. The first double bedroom, furnished with antique fittings, is fitted with air conditioning and has an ensuite bathroom with bath/shower. A third person may sleep in this room on a comfortable single sofa bed. In the library area next to the sitting room which leads to the second double bedroom, an elegant sommier sleeps another person. The second double bedroom is a bright room with wonderful views over the picturesque Via del Governo Vecchio. The characteristic ceilings with wooden beams and the honey coloured parquet floor which feature throughout the flat give the apartment a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The apartment is located in a 16th century palazzo in Via del Governo Vecchio, a street previously known as Via Papalis as it was included in the route taken by the processions which led from Saint Peter’s church to the church of Saint John Lateran. Lined with both smart Renaissance palazzos and simple town houses from the same period, the street is lined with a mixture of vintage shops, bric-a-brac stores, famous restaurants and street cafes with open air tables. The delightful position of this apartment, which looks out onto Via del Governo Vecchio, just 50 meters from Piazza Navona, means that many of Rome’s most famous places of interest - the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Venezia, the Roman Forum, Campo de Fiori, Castel Sant’Angelo and the Vatican – are little more than just a short walk away.

  • Prices given in Euro, are intended for 4 persons per night for all the apartment. For prices including more persons, please contact us.
    For weekly prices, a week is intended to cover seven nights.
    A minimum stay between three and six nights is required (depending on the periods).
    Children (0-6 years) pay half price.

    Unless otherwise specified, prices are always inclusive of:

    * kitchenware and the exclusive use of the kitchen

  • Cancellations
    The following penalties will be applied for cancellation or date changes or apartment changes:
    up to 20 days before the scheduled arrival date 20% of the total amount for the stay
    from 19 to 7 days before the scheduled arrival date 30% of the total amount for the stay
    less than 7 days before the scheduled arrival date 50% of the total amount for the stay

    If the booking is cancelled by us, we will take care to inform you immediately of the fact and propose alternative accommodation for you of equal or higher level.
    Should you decide not to accept our proposal and where it is not possible for the company to provide alternative accommodation to suit your requirements, you will be refunded of the entire advance payment.

TAXI SERVICE: We provide an optional luxury car service from the airports of Fiumicino and Ciampino, or from Termini station to the centre of Rome. The service is also available to/from railways stations and to/from the port of Civitavecchia. Please request this service when you make your booking or at least 48 hours before the arrival.

INTERNET ACCESS: It is possible to have Internet service renting a USB flash drive. You have to come to our office to take the device and leave a cautionary deposit of 100 Euros. Then when you will bring it back, we will give you back the deposit, unless any damage caused to the modem, and we will check how many minutes of Internet connection you spent. The cost is 3 Euro per hour and we require a minimum of 1 hour per day.

Perfect, central and nice! My best holiday in Rome

Thanks to the welcoming service, the cleanliness and the apartment, this was the best accommodation we could have found!
Near to Navona Square and Campo de' Fiori. Plenty of restaurants and bar all around.
We recommend to visit Rome by walking: from this apartment everything is so close!
The apartment was fully equipped and well maintained. We could prepare our own "Roman" meals! It was fantastic to feel part of this wonderful city through this accommodation. We really appreciated the cleaning and the customer service. We had a good contact with the owner from the beginning, she was charming and really cooperative.
I recommend it to everyone who wants to make part of the city living la bella vita during his holidays.

En nuestro caso este viaje ha sido para recordar la belleza monumental de esta gloriosa ciudad, puesta que ha sido nuestra segunda visita. Y es de esperar que no sea la ultima, si se cumple la tradición de la Fontana de Trevi.

La estancia en el apartamento Governo Vecchio ha sido fantástica por lo acogedor de sus paredes y la situación privilegiada. Un viaje por completo maravilloso!
