A long tradition of satisfied guests speaks of the level and quality of service we provide at Apartment Maria. You can use the terrace for just relaxation or, as many of our guests do, to grill or prepare your own food, enjoying the rustic ambiance of this small oasis we have created just for you.. We ofer you apartment for rent.The apartment consist of living room two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and balcony. Acomodation have central heating and air condition anabling us to offer our property for rent all year round.

Maria was very nice to us and helpful. Her house has a great terrace and a wonderful garden. We lived in the room with private bathroom which was ok. The house is on the hill 15 minutes walk by the steps from the old city which became a real fitness programme for us)) We recommend Lokrum island (10minutes by the boat from the old harbour) for swimming and walking, especially in the botanical garden, in the city - restaurants Lokand Pescaria and Coloseum as well as the mysterious Buza bar. The city is wonderful!

Maria was very welcoming and provided a good level of customer service as well as airport transfers for us. The terrace area is beautiful with some great tortoises to keep the kids entertained. The apartment itself is relatively basic and is about 15 mins walk uphill from the old city gate and nearest beach. This place is very suited to backpackers and people without young kids - my 3 year old (who is a good walker) was averaging 4 miles a day.....

We had a fantastic time in Dubrovnik and recommend Kolocep beach, walking the city walls, Lokrum island and hiring a car to go into Montenegro. Ferries to Kolocep and Lopud go from the new town - check times with Maria and also to see if she can give you a lift down there as the buses don't go in that direction from the apartment.

Maria met us at the airport and guided us in our rental cat to her home nicely situated overlooking the city.She was most welcoming and charming.She showed us 2 bedrooms with separate beds as requested and 2 bathrooms.The eating and lounge area was downstairs on a terrace.Since the weather was cool and rainy ,this area was unusable for us so we picniced and played cards at night in our rooms.We loved Dubrovnik and all of Croatia and the <apartment> was a good base to explore the surrounding areas.We would recommend Marias in warm weather and bring a coffee pot.
