Villa and Location:
This deceptively spacious villa has been fully refurbished to combine it's traditional quaint exterior with an interior with a comtemporary twist! The property now includes many modern conveniences i.e. double glazing, air conditioning and heating, luxury tiled floors and bathrooms throughout. Contemporary furniture and soft furnishing provide for a very comfortable stay. It is extremely well equipped and has been designed and thoughtfully furnished primarily for the owners own use. It is managed locally by professional agents who can be easily contacted if there is need during your stay.
Located in a quiet position, the beach and sea front restaurants can be walked to via shady pathways in under 5 mins. The nearest bus stop is at the top of the road and the main taxi rank and Baptista Supermarket are within easy walking distance. A smaller Ali Super Supermarket is close by and the local bakers/patisserie/coffee shop is just around the corner. The internet cafe is 5 mins walk away.
Eating and Leisure:
No need to cook! Numerous restaurants & takeaways incl. traditional Portuguese/Mediterranean/South African//Italian/Indian & Chinese. Lots of different bars including Junction 24, the Sports bar and Mirage bar, popular with the younger crowd. More extensive and recommended nightlife for youngsters (and the not so young!) in Lagos. Recommend Sunday Jazz lunch or a drink anytime at the Fortaleza restaurant garden with beautiful sea views, a cliff top walk to Lagos or quaint Burgau, kayaking to the grottos of Lagos, casual lunch or sunset dinner at the beach restaurants in Burgau or Salema. Numerous other activities include tennis courts available to hire at the Luz Bay Hotel (two minutes walk at end of the road), horse riding at Tiffany's, off road safaris, river boat trips from Portimao, day trips to the charming mountain village of Monchique. Surfing, wind surfing, deep sea fishing, walking and cycling. Visit the cultural towns of Lagos and Silves, - and of course play golf!!

Beach towels and goods are sold at the various shops in Luz. Shopping is well catered for in Lagos with numerous individual shops and the retail centre at Guia including the Nike factory store is approx 45 minutes drive. Golf is well catered for with Boavista golf resort 5 minutes and a choice of Parque de Floresta, Palmares, Mogado and Penina golf courses all within 30 mins drive. Day or half day visitor membership is available at reasonable prices for the Boavista spa which includes use of the state of the art gym, indoor pool, sauna, steam room and sunbathing terrace. Beauty treatments are also available and include the cost of using the other spa facilities! Boavista also has a luxurious clubhouse and restaurant with terrace overlooking the 18th green is open to visitors for drinks and meals.
