The Villa is located close to the Nemi Lake and 30 mins from the centre of Rome. This is a perfect family holiday villa, great for children, family parties, stag and hen parties. A great base to use to explore Rome. The beaches are 30 mins drive away, there is also the famous golf course only 20 mins away, Rome Ciampiono airport is 15 mins drive.

Notes: Outdoor - We will be able to provide balls, and a small children's play area for you, there are tennis courts nearby (1km) and we can arrange bookings for you. Restaurants and supermarkets are all approx 1km in Fornaccio, from the Villa, if you venture a little further then there is the main town of Genzano di Roma this is approx 2km away. The Nemi lake has many activities on it, there is a golf course 20 mins drive away. the beach is a 1hr mins drive and you will arrive to the beautiful seaside town of Marina di San Lorenzo and Tor San Lorenzo the beach there is part of a nature reserve and very wild and beautiful .

Rome is an exciting and vibrant city in the winter sunshine. Temperatures drop, but rarely dip towards freezing. A big Christmas market fills Piazza Navona in December, and those keen on the Christmas spirit can see many nativity scenes around Rome.

I enjoyed my stay at the villa very much. It was very unique because of its forest-like setting, its proximity to Rome (only about 35 minutes drive) and the wonderful little towns around it.

I love how the owners left all the trees around the property. It makes some rooms a little darker but more importantly it provides shade.

There is even a distant view of the sea! Superb!
