This traditional Savoyarde farmhouse and barn has been beautifully renovated to provide two luxury catered Ski Chalets. One minute’s walk to the Super Morzine Ski Lift and two minutes to the centre of town, the location of our Morzine catered chalet could not be better! The antithesis of conveyor belt chalet holidays, The Barn offers catered ski chalet holidays at their very best. From the moment you arrive on your chalet holiday you will be welcomed into an atmosphere of informal luxury. It’s not just the big things – the Jacuzzis, the en-suite bedrooms, the stunning living spaces with real log fires or the professional chef providing mouth watering three-course international cuisine; it is the smaller things like the smooth organisation, champagne reception, pre-and after dinner drinks and the helpful friendly chalet staff that make all the difference.

The chalet sleeps 12/16 people in six en-suite bedrooms. There is one family room that sleeps four with two of the beds located on a separate mezzanine level within the room and two triple rooms. Three of the bedrooms have balconies with stunning mountain views. Sit before a roaring fire beneath the ancient timbers of the vaulted ceiling in the living room. Wifi. Take in the vast panoramic views through the floor to ceiling windows or on the large balcony running the length of the living and dining rooms. Ease away the aches and pains in a hot sauna and indulge yourself with a soak in the Jacuzzi (Fluffy towelling robes provided). Enjoy gourmet meals cooked by a professional chef in our separate dining room with its vast oak table, old wooden ceiling and traditional slate flooring. Separate children’s playroom with Playstation 2 and children’s videos. Ski room with boot dryer.

Situated in the heart of the ‘Porte du Soleil’ ski area, the largest international ski area in the world, and an area of outstanding natural beauty, Morzine, which is only an hour’s drive from Geneva airport, retains all the charm and character of an old fashioned Alpine village. Morzine is a traditional family ski resort. The architecture is distinctly Savoyarde, with beautiful old farmhouses and chalets throughout the town and clustered around the church of Sainte Marie Madeline. The atmosphere is lively and unpretentious, and continues all year round. The weekly market is a good place to sample regional cheeses or charcuterie and the wide range of shops and boutiques are guaranteed to tempt the enthusiastic shopper. There is a huge selection of night time activities for all tastes – from a quiet drink in a cosy bar or watching a night time ice hockey match, to two cinemas showing English films, live music, busy bars and nightclubs – not to mention the night time skiing!
