Just back from our 2 week stay in Villa Paris....I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to make it back there before next year! We had the "Wow" factor from the minute we walked in the door, from self-flushing toilets!!! to sweeping marble staircases. My 12 yr old and 3 yr old thought Christmas had come when they saw the huge american fridge freezer with ice making features not to mind the huge plasma tv's in the living room and basement (speaking of the basement, the pool table and ping-pong went down a treat!!!) We also have a 5 month old girl and I brought a hand blender as I make her dinners and freeze them in advance.......I need'nt have bothered! There was enough delph, cutlery and gadgets to last a lifetime, everything from blenders to sandwich makers!! The bathrooms were 5 star hotel quality, fab tiles, granite tops and showers to die for! At this stage I have to mention Kaiser Properties who handle the property, we could'nt have asked for more in regard to friendliness, helpfulness and overall niceness!! When I enquired as to whether there was a hairdryer in the Villa, Julie went out and bought one for my use! Apologies for not remembering Julie's dad and brother's names but they also were fantastic to deal with. The Villa was cleaned 3 days a week and I mean CLEANED!! For the size of the property I don't know how the cleaning ladies do it! If I had to mention any negatives with regard to this property then it would be 1) the towels: after showering, the fluff from the towels would stick to you like glue, maybe they were all new??? Anyway, in perspective this was a very minor annoyance and 2) it would be handy if there was a stereo or similar which could be brought out to the pool area to play music during the day. Overall though, we could'nt have asked for more from this villa, approx. 2 miles from beautiful beaches, 3 miles from the Albufeira Marina and the beautiful Old-Town and approx. 4/5 miles from Guia with it's huge shopping centre/bowling etc. Hopefully we will be back soon.
