This brand new, air-conditioned apartment is on the 2nd floor, overlooking the pool with panoramic views from the roof terrace to the sea and hills. The apartment is furnished to a very high specification with all the equipment needed for a self catering holiday. There is a TV and DVD with SKY connection. The property is in a small complex with 4 apartment blocks surrounding the fenced off pool area. There are lifts to all floors with underground parking. The large swimming pool is surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens with loungers and umbrellas and there is a separate paddling pool. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach where there are two Chiringuitos (beach bars) to be found. This is a relaxing location with easy access to all the Costa del Sol has to offer.

Beautiful location with views to the hills and the sea. Just 5 minutes walk to the nearest beach, with two Chirnguitos (beach bars). It is a 5 minute drive to Puerto de Duquesa (the new 'Golden Mile'), a lovely, picturesque marina with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from and a great place for an evening stroll. Also near are Estepona and Sabinillias - both towns have a real Spanish feel, lovely promenades and great beaches. Sotogrande, San Pedro, Ronda, Gibraltar, Puerto Banus, Marbella, Mijas and the traditional whitewashed villages in the Andalucian hills are all within easy reach of the property. This area is a golfers dream with Duquesa Golf a 5 minute drive away and courses such as Valderrama, Sotogrande and San Roque within a 20 minute drive. The family are well catered for with beaches, water sports, Selwo Adventure Park, Zoo's, water parks etc, etc. The Costa del Sol is also a shoppers dream: from designer shops in Puerto Banus to cool market stalls in Estepona.

Enjoyable, relaxing and eventful

The apartment was immaculate and had everything the four of us needed for our week holiday, including enough space and two bathrooms.
We had a very short walk to the nearest beach which had a place for drinks, but also there were others if you carried on . The marina was great for the evenings with a lively atmosphere, music, restaurants and bars. This took about 1/2 an hour to walk but we got a taxi back as the lighting wasn't great.
WeI would definately recommend the apartment and area for family or couple holidays, everyone was very friendly and accomodating.
The pool was cleaned daily and a nice size, ample for the amount of people using it.
We travelled to Gibraltar which took about 1 hour including queuing to cross the border. It was fantastic to go up the rock and see the monkeys but would probably leave earlier if we went again to not hit so much traffic getting there but it was a great day out.
We would definately go back for another holiday, if we were going to Spain and we all got a great tan!

I spent 4 nights here in 2008 with my wife and was just looking it up for availability for a longer holiday with the kinds this time.
I can therefore see the attraction for couples and families.

The apartment is immaculate and has all you would need for an extended stay (ie cooking in and washing clothes , air con and SKY TV etc) and easily copes with 4 without feeling cramped. There's a supermarket down the road for home supplies.

There is plenty of seating outside too as well as well on the roof if that suits (private to this apartment). The pool is as large as it looks with plenty of space to sit around. Being fenced off provides the extra piece of mind especially as the balcony seating overlooks all of the pool area.

The beach across the road is ok but if you care to drive you will find others that are better - Estapona is only 10mins away by car and lovely.

We spent a lot of time at Puerto de la Dequessa. It's a couple of minutes drive or a pleasant walk along the Beach (no more than 20 mins). The Marina there is beautiful and very relaxing sitting around the bars whether it be for Breakfast or a drink. There are plenty of restaurants - many specialising - we went to a Sea Food place, Italian and an American style Grill. It has everything you care for in that regard.

We spent one day at the more populous Puerto Banus which has a lot more Shopping and very expensive looking Marina going by the boats and cars there. Again a short drive away.

Our favourite sight seeing day was at Ronda - it's an hour to an hour&half drive where this old picturesque town is built high up on a plateau either side of river/gorge. The views are outstanding.

Like I said we are looking to go back with the kids next time so it has something for everyone from a 2 week family holiday to a long relaxing weekend. So yes I would recommend. You will need a car and it was less than an hour from Malaga. Gibralta is nearer still and I believe there is another airport just over an hour away. This gives you the advantage of looking around for the cheapest flight.
