There are several beaches within a 10 minute drive of the property, Playa Flamenca, La Mata, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor and Mil Palmeras. Punta Prima beach is a 10-15 minute walk. Las Habaneras shopping center is a three storied shopping centre which includes C+A. English bookshop, Zara, H+M and shoe, handbag and jewellery shops. There are two levels of underground parking and the first hour of parking is free. The shopping centre is a 10 minute drive away. The ozone complex with casino, ten pin bowling and restaurants (including KFC) are a 10 minute drive away. Fast food establishments: McDonald's and Burger King are situated close to the Habaneras shopping center. Aquopolis is a water park at Torrevieja (near Habaneras) which opens between June and September. Pacha is a famous nightclub and is situated close to the water park. Horse riding at Campoamor and jet skiing off Campoamor beach is available during the summer months. There are outdoor markets daily in various local towns.

There is a large supermarket 100 metres away, with a fresh meat and fish counter. There is a bowling alley and cinema being built 300 metres away, due for completion in 2009. A go-cart track is situated 2 kms away with full hiring facilities. A selection of blue flag beaches are available within a 10 minute drive, and a small cove with beach and restaurant is within a 20 minute walk. There are a selection of restaurants (Italian, English, Chinese, Spanish, Indian and Irish) and bars, within a 10 minute stroll away. Information about places of interest to visit is kept in the drawer below the television in the property. Torrevieja with its promenade and harbour is a beautiful place to spend time in.

Within driving distance of the property you have 4 golf courses. La Finca at Algorfa a 20 minute drive through the fragrant orange and lemon groves. Villamartin, Real Club Campoamor and las Ramblas are a 10-15 minute drive. Torrevieja town is approx 10 minute drive and has a variety of restaurants, bars and shops. There is a promenade with market stalls. There is a funfair nightly for the children during the summer months. The main promenade is closed to traffic. At the harbour you can take a boat ride to Tabarca Island in a glass bottomed boat and view the underwater world as you travel or you can visit the Delfin S61 Submarine. Torrevieja market is every Friday and is the largest market around the area.
