In the heart of the Charente Maritime micro-climate, relax in the sun, go to the beach or visit La Rochelle and the Ile de Ré. These beautiful converted holiday homes built of honey coloured natural stone, nestle in the peaceful countryside. It is ideal for cycling, but close to a market town with supermarkets and many restaurants;½ hour to Niort Golf Club; 1 hour from Futuroscope, Royan, Cognac and Saintes. The gîtes are spacious and designed for contemporary living and have modern kitchens, dishwashers,TV, DVD, HiFi with Ipod docking station, & internet access with onsite owners;private patio with BBQ. Outside there is a 12x6m solar heated swimming pool with shade room, safe kids play area and laundry.

4 bedrooms Capacity 10 + baby. On the ground floor it has a large open plan living/dining/kitchen with dishwasher and microwave./ There is a double bedroom and WC shower room both with facilities for a handicapped person. Upstairs has one double bedroom with cot, a twin bedded room and a room with 2 single beds and a bunk bed. There is a separate shower room and a bathroom with bath , toilet and wash basin. Outside there is a very large patio with garden furniture and BBQ. This accessed by a ramp to enable wheelchair users.

There are several 18 hole golf courses in the region: La Rochelle, Mazières-en-Gatines, Menigoute or our local course at Niort, visitors are always welcome
