Bibleham is a comfortable country home in one of the most scenic parts of South East England, ideal for a relaxing vacation. Private and secluded off a country lane with large gardens and magnificent views. It sleeps 8-10. There is ample parking to the front of the house. Low beamed ceilings and antique furniture. Oak panelled dining room seating up to 10. Fully equipped kitchen with electric oven/grill, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, table with pew. Adjacent hall and store room with with Belfast sink, larder cupboards, 2 large fridges/ 1 freezer. Utility room with Table Tennis table, washing machine and tumble dryer. Spacious Sitting Room with spectacular inglenook fireplace, large settee, several armchairs and CD/radio player. Separate lounge/snug with 40 inch flat screen TV, DVD and large L shape sofa. 4 good sized bedrooms, 2 with double beds and 2 twins with one having additional roll out beds.

Bibleham is set in beautiful countryside with breathtaking views over the Weald. It boasts a 1.5 acre garden with a 14 ft trampoline, summer house with reconditioned pool table and terrace with built in barbeque. It is 2.5 miles way from the historic town of Mayfield which has a traditional high street full of shops selling local produce. There are also a number of pubs and restaurants. The countryside is ideal for walking, cycling and horse riding. Also nearby is the Cuckoo Trail, Bewl Water (perfect for watersports and hiring bikes), The Bluebell Railway, The Enchanted Forest, Drusilla's Zoo and many more attractions. The coast is also a mere 30 minutes away.

    Weekends and short breaks up to 3 nights are offered at 75% of the weekly rate.

A very charming cottage with a children (and dog) friendly garden. The property was clean, well maintained and the owner provided excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend to a friend or relative without hesitation. In fact we are hoping to make a return visit.
