Villa Rubicon is situated in the exclusive resort of Marina Rubicon in the sunny South of Lanzarote. Only a 12 minute walk away are the restaurants and shops of Marina Rubicon and the white sands of Playa Dorada Beach, a lovely bay with sun beds, umbrellas, restaurants, shops & watersports. In addition to the villa's wonderful location, with its plentiful amenities, it is also, if desired, a haven in which to simply relax and chill out by the villa's own pool. The villa has South facing terraces for all day sun. However there is an outside covered area and/or parasol in which to take shade. Pretty garden areas stocked with delightful sub-tropical plants. Local support available from Billy, pool cleaner, all round handyman and friend.

Luxury villa with 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite), 1 cloakroom / WC, Sky TV with selection of UK channels, Private heated pool, Walled garden area – plenty of plants flowers. Nice kitchen with large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine. 2 minutes walk to local supermarket, couple of bars and car hire 5 minutes walk to local 4 & 5 star hotels. Taxi rank at end of street – 2 mins. 12 mins walk to marina rubicon with very nice shops, restaurants 12 mins walk to brand new ten pin bowling alley & shopping centre. Total 25 min walk to town (along lovely coastal promenade via marina) with loads of standard Spanish restaurant / bar facilities. €3.50 for a taxi back to villa from town.

  • £100 Deposit payable on confirmation of booking (non refundable). Prices are per week and based on 4 persons sharing. All costs are in British pounds. Last minute discounts may be agreed….email owner for updates. Extra persons (up to a total of 6) are charged at £25 per person per week (to cover cleaning / laundry charges).
    The preferred changeover day is Thursday, check in normally after 1500 hours, check out before 1000 hours. This can sometimes be flexible…email owner.

Getting to Villa Rubicon and around the resort: Hire cars can be conveniently picked up at the airport and either dropped off in the resort or returned to the airport. Hire rates start about €79 per week all inclusive off season. Please give us a call for further details. Taxis between the airport and Villa Rubicon are generally less than €50 each way. While staying at the villa a hire car is certainly not essential, but will be needed if you want to explore the beautiful island.

The Resort of Playa Blanca: The resort of Playa Blanca is situated in the south of Lanzarote and is the sunniest resort on the island. It boasts 2 fine beaches within walking distance of the Villa Rubicon with sunbeds and restaurants nearby. Dorada Beach which is 10 minutes walk from Villa Rubicon is partially lagooned with breakwaters on both sides and white sand. Also this beach offers jet skis, pedalos, canoes, etc. Flamingo Beach also has 2 breakwaters and white sand. The beautiful beaches of Papagayo are a 10 minute drive from Villa Rubicon or a 30 minute walk. There are many fine restaurants in Playa Blanca to suit all tastes. There is a walkway which follows the coast along the length of the resort, some 5km. Shops are mostly situated in the main town pedestrian precinct, although new shops are opening in Marina Rubicon every week. Car hire, motor bike hire, bicycle hire, electro-bike hire, are all available in resort.

Coastal Path: Most of the restaurants are on the coastal path and you can dine whilst watching the waves.
