New 4 bedroom chalet available for rental at St Georgen in Austrian Murtal Valley which is home to Kreischberg ski resort. Chalet is one of 14 built around a small pond on outskirts of village. It is 5 minutes to the slopes and to local major town, Murau. It is 2 minutes walk to an excellent Gasthof offering good food and drink. Chalet has 2 double bedrooms and 2 bedrooms with bunks, sleeping 8 in total. It has open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area with large terrace looking out over valley and to ski slopes. Kreischberg is major ski resort with 29 kms of slopes supported by ski lifts, gondolas etc and operating snow cannons to provide 80% coverage. St Georgen also offers all forms of winter sports, and in summer has a brand new golf course, swimming pool, tennis courts, cycle way, mountain biking, and walking in mountains and valleys. Murau is approximately 90 minutes from Salzburg airport and less from Graz and Klagenfurt.

Nearest Airport: Klagenfurt at 90 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Kaindorf at 1 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: A10 at 40 Kilometres

Chalet is located at the edge of the charming village of St Georgen near Murau. Within the village is the Kreischberg ski resort with 29km of slopes and 80% ski cannon coverage. Within 30 minutes is the Turracher Hoehe ski area that you can generally ski until May. The resort contains all forms of winter sports including skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, snow walks, horse carriage rides etc. In summer the area is a haven for wonderful relaxing days and walks through magnificent scenery. There is a brand new 18 hole golf course 2 minutes from the chalet, and numerous lakes and swimming pools within 5-10 minutes. Hiking and mountain bike trails abound and the chalet site is next to a 300km cycle track. Further afield you could visit Klagenfurt's Woerthersee Lake, the delights of Salzburg, or take a trip to Italy. All are wining 1-2 hours easy drive. Within 2 mins walk of the chalet is a great local Gasthof with excellent food and drink on offer.
