Sunshine from the crisp clear morning until the red sun drops from the sky. If you are a painter, this is a perfect place for you; if you are a poet, this is the place for you, if you are a sun worshipper, this is the place for you; this is a unique opportunity, a place in the sun. You face the blue Mediterranean sea which is 60 yards away; you are under the blue Mediterranean sky used to inspire Matisse and Picasso; behind you are breath-taking views of the Nice mountains; you have sun loungers, deck chairs, out-door dining table, chairs & BBQ. There is a large bedroom with an elegant 4-poster bed and a spacious twin bedroom.

2 bedrooms and sitting room all with doors to their own terraces. There are separate stairs taking you up to a 70 square metre (140 square feet) solarium with BBQ, dining table, beach chairs, parasols,and mature plants. This penthouse apartment has a bath/shower, separate toilet, large fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, washing machine/dryer etc. The hall and sitting room floors are pink marble and the bedrooms are parquet herring bone. There is one indoor dining table and chairs and three other outside dining tables with dining seats for up to 10 people. There are 2 sun loungers and 2 deck chairs. This apartment is for those who wish to be in the city, but have an out-door life within the apartment, alfresco living option with views to die for day and night. This is not s slick, air-conditioned box. It has many original features, and the furnishings are not standard Ikea items, but rather a blend of personal choice items and quality art deco antiques.

Nice is central to the French Riviera and leads to all regions in the Cote d'Azure. The apartment is 60 yards or so from the famous Promenade des Anglais and beach which is also on view from one of the apartment's large terraces. The beautiful gardens and Museum of Nice is also yards away as is the world famous Hotel Negresco which is also visible from the terrace. Restaurants, shops, cafes and bars line the whole area. The Old Town of Nice comprises 17th & 18th century Italian streets and fountain squares which are lively, loud and exciting in Summer, and quiet and tranquil in the Winter months. The Old Town is a mere 6 minutes walk away, as is the main bus station where you can take a one euro bus ride to Monaco taking 20 minutes. The bus to Monaco passes through breath-taking natural beauty spots, pretty fishing villages like Villefranche, and mountain top beautiful little villages such as Eze. Notes: A lift is taken from a mezanine floor from the ground floor entrance to the top 4th Floor. There is a sizable hallway leading to a large sitting/dining room, kitchen and bedroom each with French doors leading to their own terrace areas, & mini hall which leads to hall leading to a further large bedroom with own doors to a seperate terrace, small single bedroom, bathroom with bath and shower attachment. There is a seperate toilet. Stairs lead to a 50 meter square solarium giving 360 gegree views to the North, South, East and West of Nice, taking in the mountains, and sea with BBQ. Air conditioning, if required, can arranged by seperate agreement.

Amazing views, fresh air, BBQ, friends and a wonderful time even though the weather his an apparently rare wet spell during our stay. We looked at the possibility of staying in a villa but did not want to have to travel to shops and night life etc., so this was an excellent alternative and worked out a lot cheaper for for us into the bargin. We had individual terraces as well as a huge roof solarium. IWe can only imagine what this apartment would be like under blue skys, and facing the sea and mountains. The only slight down-side was that lift is on the first floor, and the communal entrance could benifit from a lick of paint, but the apartment was immaculate and the location perfect for us. Many thanks.
