Access to the apartment is from the road where 20 steps up lead to the entrance. There are 2 main bedroom (one with air-con) and a 3rd room twin-bedded (with air-con), this way up to 6 people can be accommodated comfortably. There are 2 bathrooms (one with bathtub, the other with shower cubicle and washing machine). The dining/sitting room has attractive cherry-wood furniture and a fireplace welcoming early and late season visitors. One main bedroom and the dining/sitting rooms have French doors opening onto a terrace furnished with sun deck chairs. The apartment is 1km from the main square and most shop

One the most attractive and magical destination on the Amalfi Coast is perched on a hill above Amalfi overlooking lemon, oranges and olive groves, famous for its breath taking views and idyllic villa Rufolo and villa Cimbrone, once part of the Maritime Republic of Amalfi, is now an historic and peaceful retreat for many people from all over the world. People usually chose this charming little town for its quiet streets and spectacular views and it's an ideal spot to be based at in order to move around and visit other gems of the Amalfi Coast. Easy access to motorway makes Ravello a hot spot for visiting Pompeii and Peastum, Naples and Ercolano and Amalfi with access to Sorrento and the Islands of Capri ed Ischia.

Our family of 6 stayed in this wonderful flat for about a week in May of this year. Diego and his parents were extremely helpful in meeting us at the Ravello bus stop, helping us with schedules, internet, groceries, and even providing us with vegetables and wine daily from their own garden.We had no problem coordinating through Raffaela who was located in the UK at the time.

The house was immaculately clean and well supplied with towels, dishes, extra blankets, etc. We truly felt at home here and were able to genuinely relax after a hectic week of travel in Rome. Most of the time that we were in the flat was spent on the sun porch, which had an incredible view. We highly recommend staying with this wonderful family and will try to do so if we are in Ravello again!
Recommended for:  Families with Young Children, Tourists without a Car, Age 55+, Sightseeing
