We visited the property in July 09 , excellent location within easy reach of shops bars resaurants and the beach.Brilliant pool and ideal place to visit with children.Lovely large villa set in good gardens on peacefull street.
The property was clean and tidy with plenty of things for the kids.
Our only concern was that the room with 2 beds and a sofa bed was what looked liked a converted garage so it wasn't accessable from the main house which wasn't the best for security as we had kids that had to stop in the room so we had to make sure they locked themselves in which isn't ideal for safety reasons also there was no air con in the room so it got very hot.
Also oven wasn't working and we couldn't get any of the satellite recievers to work or the dvd player.
The place does need generally upgrading but is fine if you have young kids as you aren't worrying about them spoiling things.
Our stay would have been much more pleasent if the property had air conditioning especially for the summer months , we would recommend it and go again if this was installed.
Overall though a very nice villa in an excellent location.
Owner's Response: Hi Dorne Thank you for your comments, glad you enjoyed your holiday at the villa, Im afraid the villa doesn’t have air-conditioning, there are ceiling fans to all rooms to help keep cool in summer months you can also cool the villa Spanish style (open the windows on inside and close the wooden shutters on the outside) this helps generate a flow of air though the house. Bedroom 4 is detached from the main house as described in the advertising Regarding the problems you experienced during your vacation we are sorry you didn’t contact us during your stay to report these items as we are on hand to help 24 hours a day. We can confirm the satellite TV is working fine (a cable had come loose) the DVD Player was been replaced and the oven is working fine (it has a built in timer clock which unless activated will not allow the oven to come on). Information on how to work the oven is shown in the house manual.
Internally the villa is comfortable and clean, practical and in good working order We agree some of the fixtures and fittings (ie bathroom suites, kitchen cupboards) are a little dated but are in good working order and clean. The villa is in a great location very private (not overlooked) and the gardens and swimming pool are simply fabulous
