Casa Alberto Clarissa is a luxury air-conditioned 4-bedroom, 4 en-suite bathroom, villa situated in the stunning Axarquia region of Andalucia. Welcome to the real spain! The villa overlooks Lake Vinuela and the magnificent mountain ranges of Sierra Tejada. Ideally located within a short drive of either Malaga or Granada Airports and within easy reach of many beautiful beaches and traditional Spanish villages. The villa is furnished to a very high standard with every modern convenience. Enjoy relaxing on your private terrace by the pool, dining al fresco with the fresh local produce. Alternatively, there are some fantastic 'typically spanish' bars and restaurants and small whitewashed mountain villages to explore. A short 20 min drive takes you to the coast, a major shopping centre and the bustling spanish seaside resort of Torre del Mar and its famous Fish tapas bars!. Further afield, Granada, Seville, Cordoba and Gibraltar are all within travelling distance either by car or train.

Casa Alberto Clarissa is situated on a gentle hillside against a back drop of mountains, olive and almond trees on the outskirts of the typically Spanish village of Los Romanes with its small supermarket stocking all the essentials, bars, restaurants and olive mill. Malaga airport is only 45 minutes away, Granada 1 hour. The nearby coast of Torre del Mar with its long promenade and sandy beach is 20 minutes and the popular resort of Nerja 30 minutes away.The Villa has magnificent views across Lake Vinuela, to of some of the white villages of Periana, Alcaucin etc.There are many bars & restaurants within a short drive around the lake and views of Sierra Tejada, with its natural parks.There is something here for everyone. There are many trails for good local walking, with nature and bird watching on the doorstep and golf nearby. Local activities swimming, tennis, walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, horse riding, golf, wind-surfing, water skiing, mountain biking, mountaineering.

Additional information about rental rates

  • THE RATES QUOTED ABOVE ARE BASED ON 4 PERSONS
    Additional persons to a maximum of 8 will be charged at £100 per person per week (maximum cost for 8 persons £1,400.00 per week)
    IF THE VILLA IS BOOKED FOR 4 PERSONS THE UPPER LEVEL OF THE VILLA WILL BE USED
    £25 per week for Travel Cot
    A non refundable 25% deposit is payable upon confirmation of booking and the balance due for the rental must be settled in full, 8 weeks before arrival. A refundable breakage/damage deposit of £500 is payable.with final balance. This will be returned in full once the property has been checked and verified that no costs have been occured.
    Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday.
    The villa is available from 4 pm on the arrival day and guests are required to vacate the villa by 10am on day of departure.
    Upper level consists of 1 doulble en-suite bedroom and 1 bedroom with twin beds which is also en-suite
    Prices quoted are in pounds sterling however if you wish to pay in €uros please request in your enqu
  • Cancellations- Within 8-4 weeks of arrival where we are unable to re rent the property 50% of the tate will be retained.Within 4-2 weeks of arrival, 75% will be retained, within 2 weeks of arrival 100% of the rental value will be retained.
  • You are advised to obtain Travel Insurance and ensure your Euopean Health Insurance Card (EHIC). In case of medical emergency you will asked for this document along with your passport.
    Within a 10-minute drive of the villa there is a 24hr Medical centre in the village of Vinuela and the nearest accident and emergency department is at Hospital de la Axarquia which is a 20 minute drive from the villa in Velez- Malaga.
    The owners will not be liable for any damage, injury, loss or theft during the rental period.

    Beach towels are not Included in the renta rates

Sliding patio doors lead onto the large covered terrace which is enclosed in full length glass curtains with the magnificent views of lake vinuela and the mountains what more could you want! Bedroom 2 Large en-suite bedroom with fitted wardrobes and 2 single beds Lower level consist of a separate entrance which is not accessible from inside the upper level. It consists of 2 spacious separate bedrooms both en suite the right hand side bedroom has a double bed and the left hand bedroom has 2 single beds both with fitted wardrobes.Bedrooms have views either of the lake, mountains or pool area. All rooms have air conditioning and or variable speed ceiling fans Lower accommodation deal for older children teenagers and couples who want their independence . Not just any rental property a Andalucian dream rental property The villa is not overlooked and ideal for larger families.It is surrounded by landscaped gardens with several fruit trees and boasts a large private pool. and several terraces.There is a large covered terrace leading from the lounge & Master bedroom which is surrounded by fully opening glass curtained for that al fresco dining experience! More eating and relaxing areas dotted around the villa where to eat, chill, sun or shade is your only dilemma!.There is a large plasma TV, SKY, DVD.and VHS player. For the younger members of the family there is a travel cot, high chair,car seat and as a safety feature there is a gate leading from the terrace steps to the pool.

Activities, Sports, Shopping: The eastern part of the Costa del Sol has 30 kilometers of beaches stretching from Rincón de la Victoria to the boundary with the Province of Granada. Torre del Mar, Torrox & Nerja have long sandy beaches, around Nerja and at Maro the cliffs form small coves. The sea is usually crystal clear In this part there is a different kind of tourist to the cosmopolitan western Costa del Sol. Those who want to explore the villages of the Axarquía can combine sunbathing and swimming with an appetiser and the good local wine in the popular 'chiringuitos', as the beach restaurants are called here. They are right on the beach, almost at the water’s edge. There is a water parks 15 minutes away at Torre Del Mar and there are further water parks and theme parks near Malaga. [Shopping] - Local shops nearby and large shopping centers at Velez Malaga/Torre del Mar and Rncon de la Victoria also the towns of Torre del Mar and Velez Malaga have many good shops. There are also many excellent shops at Nerja.

Very clean and tidy. Everything as described and working fully. Extremely comfortable with all you need to hand.

Great location, easy to find, remote enough to be peaceful and private but close enough to beach, shops, bars and restaurants. Stunning views all day long.

Recommended.

We found the villa in a very remote location, well off the beate track, which suited us fine. It had stunning views across the valley and resevior. The villa was also beautifully furnished and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was very well received.

There wasn't much space to store our provisions but the owner had left cupboards with sauces and spices we were free to use. There was also a very good local restuarant called Miguels at the top of the hill.

The pool was wonderful and we certainly made plenty of use of it. Also outside there were plenty of places to sunbathe or eat so we could move around depending whether we wanted sun or shade.

The only other point I would make is that during our two week stay the linen did not get changed and it would've been nice to have clean linen each week.

Overall we had a fantastic holiday and I would recommend the villa to anyone who wants a bit of luxury and wants to get away from the crowds.
