This beach side apartment has 3 double bedrooms (two of which may be used as twins plus optional baby cot and baby chair available), one shower room/ WC, second WC with bath & shower, a large lounge with shaded balcony and stunning views over the bay and a huge sunny roof terrace with panoramic views, lighting, a (cold water) shower and barbecue. The accommodation sleeps 6 or even 7 by also using the lounge with an optional z bed. The apartment is located on the white sandy beach, which is a family friendly, safe and perfect beach for young children. There are a wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants nearby and it is a pleasant 30 minute walk along the beach (or 5 minute drive by road) to busy Port Alcudia and its marina. Easy motorway drive time from Palma airport only 35 min. Secure parking with remote gate entry. The popular all year round resort of Port de Pollenca is only a 15 minute drive away.

Port Alcudia is a beautiful family resort on the north coast of Majorca. The bay of Alcudia has a white sandy beach stretching for 14 km. The beach is calm and shallow making it particularly suitable for children. The apartment is right on the beach and many local attractions include the Port Alcudia Marina, Port Alcudia shopping and a local water park. Boat rental, paragliding and banana boating are available just in front of the apartment. The area has many pleasant beach bars, restaurants and tourist attractions, including go karting and bike rental. The all year round resort of Port Pollenca is only a 15 minute drive.

Notes: The totally private roof terrace has panoramic views over the Bay of Alcudia with 4 comfortable sun loungers and a table and 4 chairs for outside dining. Lighting is available for evening barbeques on the brick built barbeque and the (cold water) shower is useful after a swim on the beach. On the balcony, accessed via the lounge, you can enjoy breakfast in the morning sun, or escape from the heat later in the day when the balcony is entirely in the shade. The balcony has a table and six chairs for outside dining and relaxing, but in the unlikely event of rain you can retreat to the lounge which has an extendable dining table with 4 dining chairs. A DVD collection of 100 popular movies is available free of charge. There are large flat screen TVs with integral DVD, in both the lounge and master bedroom plus a third regular TV and DVD in bedroom 2. Please note there is no local TV or SKY Sat service in the apartment. Internet access is available at nearby cafe only one minute away

Shangri-La.....

After holidaying in Playa de Muro for 15 years I can honestly say this is the best accommodation we have stayed in. The location is perfect, open the garden gate and you are on the beach, go straight ahead and you are in the bar, turn to your left and you are in the grounds of a hotel with a lovely grassy area and pool you can use, and drinks as cheap as anywhere in the resort. The apartment is very roomy with COMFY beds and pillows, you don't need to pack any towels, and the balcony and roof top chairs and table are good quality, not plastic things which are liable to break. The best restaurants are (and believe me we've been going that long we've tried them all) El Rancho (at the end of the street)-brilliant for steaks and pasta; the Peking Duck chinese just past El Rancho; Leon Rojo next to the beach in the square-this is definitely the best and you must try their fillet of sole Lean Rojo. Topo Gigios is good as is El Patio but you can get the same for less at El Rancho.
Getting back to the apartment, the communications with the owner are excellent, the property is very clean and we will definitley be going again. It is a top floor apartment so wouldn't be ideal for anyone with walking difficulties which is a shame, so I would recommend this to families of all ages but it would be great for people with small children as the beach is so safe.

Fantastic holiday

First time at this apartment in Alcudia and it certainly lived up to our expectations. The view is fantastic and we enjoyed the balcony and the roof terrace. The apartment has lots of space and you have the beach right in front of you and the local city just around the corner. The place is very calm and ideal for families. We are already planning our next visit.

We've come back from a fantastic holiday in Alcudia.
The apartment is marvelous and as good as seen in photos!
Evening barbecues on the roof tarrace were great fun and perfect opportunity to rest and chill out after the whole day of adventures, sunbathing, swimming and sightseeing!
I'd recommend it 100% and hope to get back there sometime, as one week is definately not enough to explore the area and enjoy this place in full!

Fantastic apartment

I have just returned from a week at this stunning apartment on the beach. On arrival the apartment was very well presented and spotless. The location is idilic and right on the beach, the area is quiet, however, you are only 200 meters for the main road that runs through the town. There is one of the best resturants we found is at the end of the street and next door is a small Irish bar where there is live "Irish" music each night. This is the 3rd year in a row we hae used the apartment and all I can say is that the facilities within the apartment get better each time we go back. Not only are we looking to use it again next year but we have aleady recommended it to some of our friends. I would recommend the apartment to anyone.
